hi gaurav. wow, you live in Sweden? i am also from Sweden, i was born and currently live here. since i am of iranian background, we also have our own version of halwa. ours is more candy like, while you guys is more pudding like. the common form you mostly see is tahini bassed, but we also have flour bassed as well like you guys do. however we don't ad razons since it might water down the doe, but we use rose water, and some people i know use safran for more taste too. we serv both versions at parties and funerals as well, the flour bassed version is mostly served at funerals when someone has passed away, but i have seen the tahini version being served at family gatherings too. wow, nice to see an indian from my home country, wish the indian comunity was as vibrant here as it is in cities like london. i mean 11000 to 15000? that's not enough, you guys need millions to be vizible on the streets here at least. what city are you located in? this is so interesting. i am located in gothemburg. it was nice meeting you here on the internet, stay safe as of now. greetings to you from an iranian woman in Sweden: N Nicki Rafiei.

Greek Halva: 1c oil, 2c semolina(sooji), 3c sugar, 4c water. flavours: cinnamon(must, then according to preference add: sliced almonds, raisins, cloves and maybe cardamon. Same! method. So much of Indian cooking is so similar! New fashion adds melted dark chocolate over finished product. @stefanos2691: My aunts from Messinia used to make it with flour, with flavour and texture a nice change! Thank-you!
