Just brought this home last week and soon my Co-op gamer friend and I will save the Atlantians from certain doom! Thanks for the play through.

Thanks Charles - glad you enjoyed the adventure :)
I love how, in this game, you're constantly assessing each other's special skills and working together. I played this with a group that included a mentally challenged friend, and she really loved it a lot. These sort of games are awesome for inclusion!

Agreed - as much as I might like competing, I can just as much enjoyment out of working together with the other players.

Very kind of you to say - so glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for this play through. I was playing the Artificer wrong. I didn't realize you could put a follower on some of the unbuilt components if the Artificer is placed on the component. I really appreciated seeing this play through to see if there was anything I was doing wrong.

I wasn’t aware the components had worker placement spots. Can anyone access these? Or only the artificer? Looks like lots of fun!
@WatchItPlayed
3 жыл бұрын
Once they are built, others can access them, but the Artificer has an ability that lets them access them earlier, before they are built.
Great playthrough! I think I've got some strategy ideas for when we play. I do have a question: I saw Rodney's note that you guys were playing on difficulty level 2. How would you say the difficulty scales from level to level? Like, does it go up gradually or was level 1 too easy while level 2 was the sweet spot?
@WatchItPlayed

Good question - I know I don't personal remember how the difficulty felt between the two. -Rodney
Looks like there's a couple of links missing in the description, both the tutorial and the link the Before You Play. Waiting excitedly for this and the Monstrosities expansion.

The game looks great visually, but watching I have the feeling there aren’t too many strategies. I feel getting more workers early is always the first move and the only challenge is getting crystals. Not saying that’s not fun, but would it be fun playing this multiple times?
@WatchItPlayed
3 жыл бұрын
Hey Jacob, that's a good question, and one that's hard to answer. What one person find enjoyable to play multiple times, another person may not - so we tend to avoid trying to assess that for others, but hopefully the video gave you a sense of the game play - perhaps there are some reviews out there that speak to the replayability factor in a way that you might also find helpful.

Is this game losing anything at this player count?
@WatchItPlayed
3 жыл бұрын
I haven't played at all player counts, but I typically don't weigh in on these kinds of questions, but I think it's very player dependent. Some groups prefer games at higher player counts, others don't. Play time can change, levels of interaction (and so many things). Hopefully we gave a good sense of how it plays at 2 players though :)
@andredavids9324

I used to own it. We mostly played with 2 and it was good. Also played at the full player count, but that took way too long and was very chaotic to coordinate. Would say sweet spot is 3 to 4. The game looks amazing! However, it felt like the push your luck element was more dominant that having a good strategy.
