@@jonahfalcon1970 actually I've noticed in all of these preview videos that Quinns and Tom are very nice about the games, while Matt always looks/sounds like he's in the "but..." part of a regular review.

It you haven't bought it yet, get the All In KS version.

@7:31 is anyone else appreciating Quinn's choice to paraphrase Nelly's lyrics as his opener here...cause that gave me pause to grin. Very comedic, very subtle, very Quinn.

Mantis Falls hard mode: two assassins, no witnesses

What is it with these new two-part bots? Anyways, yeah, that would be a really interesting possiblity if you made it work thematically. Two rival mobs wanted to silence the witness, and the assassins mistook each other for that witness?

Mantis Falls is incredible

I playtested the Scooby Doo game when it was being designed! Happy to see it released.

I love coops too much. I was already interested in mantis falls (hidden traitors!), atlantis rising and scooby doo. I had no previous interest on MassTransit, buuuut it looked very simple and interesting.

...also, thanks for posting them on KZread (I live in a remote area and get video internet through my job when I am usually working while the video plays after work hours... which blocks Twitch)

Mantis Falls reminds me a bit of the Achievement Hunter Heist cooperative card game base, which looks fun too.

I love a pair of sneaky cat ears.

Bought the scooby doo one before Christmas, v good. Good distraction during lockdown. You can even save the game between the two main chapters of the game, which is a nice touch.

I backed Mantis Falls. It's not actually co-op. It's social deduction.

And the crazy thing about Atlantis Rising shown here - it's not even a Deluxe version. Deluxe has even better looking materials.

I was wondering about that! It looked too nice to be a standard retail version. Now I'm sold!

I noticed a minor omission in the Time of the Daleks preview: the small Dilemma discs are placed face down, and only flipped face up once you’ve travelled to a location and chosen which dilemma to attempt, so then you learn which die rolls you need. Then they remain face up until the dilemma has been solved. (I hesitate to call it an error, since Matt maybe just decided to leave that detail out for brevity.)

Mantis falls rocks.

i'm having trouble finding information on the doctor who 2nd edition and the links in the description no longer have it on their respective websites. does anyone know a release date and/or retailer for it?

Have GF9 sorted the snappy-snappy ankles problem in DW: Time of the Daleks?

People voted for that hedgehog. I don't get it either. I wanted the phone booth.

Atlantis is underwater. So it is rising... to be an underwater kingdom and not an above water kingdom. 😂

He searches in vain for the antonym for "flood" and eventually comes up with "drain", while living across the North Sea from a country that regularly "reclaims" its land.

There's no Atlantis rising in the shop...

The Atlantis Rising game has too many parallels to the Stargate series for me to be able to play it - I just know that the differences from the "canonical" version will endlessly annoy me. Which is a shame, I'd buy a rethemed Stargate version instantly.

Hang on... Why does a game need to say a character is non binary? There really isn't any need to state that, the player can just assume what gender or sex the character is by using the artwork. There really is no reason, maybe a character is gay? Maybe transgender... but to actually state that when it has absolutely nothing bro to with the game or its mechanics is ridiculous.
