Such a fun and well-designed game now with the new 2nd edition version! I have backed it, and looked forward to playing it. Thanks Jon!
Love it! Worker placement co-op?? Not may of those out there! What a fun game Jon thanks for sharing!!

That's true, this is a rare combination of mechanics. I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough, hopefully you get a chance to try this one out.
7:33 We heard you psyching yourself up! Awesome lol :D

Uhg, I hate it when I slip up and something like that makes it into the final video. I have a variety of little "ticks" that I have to edit out, seems like I somehow missed one!

@@jonathancox5591 It's all good, mate. Love your vids, thanks so much for continuing to post them!
Great run through as usual. I've heard a lot of good things about this game, but after watching this it seems highly, highly luck based. You have some mitigation, but even watching it being played and seeing how bad the dice rolling can affect things, I think I might just find it to frustrating at times. Thanks for the great video though!
It is worth noting that this is your signature sentence. Thanks for the playthrough!

You forget "Right from the gecko"
I used to be a beta tester for Galen the original creator, and this game is not easy and should kick your butt a few times before you win.. ;) Great playthrough though!
Seems like a lot of the time the inner 3 spaces are basically the same, or is there a reason you would often use the more dangerous "outer" ones? e.g. at 53:00 you have 2 sets of workers right next to the flooding, when they could be 2 tiles inland for the same effect?

Just realised I didn't have the Klingon on, apologies if this is mentioned at some point that way!

You actually make a good point, I didn't notice while playing that I was making unnecessarily risky moves with some of those plays.

@@JonGetsGames You do spot and mention that those inner three are the same later on though and adjust your play accordingly. Although for the first part of the playthrough, I was shouting to myself "don't go there!"
It seems that the game hinges on a few dice throws. I'm not a huge fan of that, it could be extremely frustrating to see your excellent planning go down the toilet for want of more Luck.
The color choices and iconography on the board are very busy and overlap (especially the light green areas). They blend in and are not especially distinctive. :-(

Yes, this is just a prototype board. It will be fixed before we manufacture the game.
