I used to be poor and now I’m doing well. Yes money does buy a certain amount of happiness because I can do things that I couldn’t in the past like go out to restaurants, remodel my house or buy a new car if I need it. Also I don’t have to worry about having enough money to pay my bills. I used to worry about that every day of my life.

Rich people here wake up at 4 or 5am. Men…I work remotely and I also trade stocks, and I wake up at 8.30 earliest to start work at 9 and to start stock market at 9.30. No wonder I am still poor 😮. Needs to start waking up early to prepare myself mentally, spiritually and physically, emotionally to start my day. Thank you for these inspirational videos

I noticed that most of these wealthy and successful ppl all said that they wake up out of bed 4:30 - 5AM. My late mentor/teacher Bob Proctor advise us all his students to the same, so I feel proud of myself that I have made the irrevocable decision to practice this healthy habit even though at times it can be a challenge. But whats a challenge when we all have greatness within u. I am definitely on my way to achieving the abundant life of freedom and stability I desire, and only plenty money can do or give me that life. So therefor I will be very happy and proud of myself because I AM WORTHY OF EVERYTHING I DESRE!! AND EVERYTHING I DESIRE ALREADY EXSIST!! Thanks for this encouraging video mane Snew. GREAT JOB

Money may not buy you love or happiness but it sure as heck puts you in a better bargaining position, lol. Actually as a kid I grew up in poverty living in an old farm house in the middle of an orange grove. I didn't know we were poor because everyone we knew were poor too. Those are some of the fondest memories of my life and the reason why I never based happiness on acquiring materialistic things. Somehow I got lucky in life and now that I'm getting older the most important thing $ gives me is the ability to help less fortunate people and the freedom and security in my old age to travel and do whatever I want. I would never get a Lambo and become a target for criminals or kill myself driving it.

  • @whiteorchid5412

@@MX-CO I've always been an aviation enthusiast so my career goal upon graduating HS was to become a USAF pilot. but that requires a minimum 4 year degree in math or science so I worked my way through college washing dishes and later worked for an excavation contractor doing general labor. Before long I had learned how to operate heavy equipment. After graduating college I entered the USAF flight training program but washed out due a minor eyesight impairment. I then found employment in middle management with the City of Los Angeles. By luck I got a side gig helping an antique and art dealer in Beverly Hills who had many rich and famous clients. He mentored me in the trade and within 5 years I was making more money from my part time side gig than my 40 hour a week day job. So I resigned from the City and opened four antique stores throughout southern CA. I realize being a retail dealer in material possessions may seem like a contradiction to what I said in my original comment. I do own some nice and valuable things. But everything in moderation. Because at some point as you get older an excess of material possessions become a burden. I saw this quite frequently with my clients who owned palatial mansions full of stuff and as they got older the kids left their spouse died or divorced them and they felt very lonely in huge home empty of any people. So they would call me to help sell everything and get rid of it. I also began flight training to obtain my private pilots license I joined a flying club where I met my future husband who is also a licensed pilot and a successful entrepreneur who was a managing partner of a design and engineering firm dealing with the broadcast industry. Between our two incomes we did well. Fortunately I shut down my stores and liquidated my inventory in Nov. 2019 just before the Covid shut downs hit. My husband recently sold his company which was a nice windfall to go into our retirement with. To answer your question I got lucky. But the reason I provided all the background information is because it illustrates if you set goals, have a work ethic, perseverance, resourcefulness and are willing to sacrifice your comfort in the short term to get ahead in the long term, I believe that all somehow will put you in a place where the good luck can find you!

  • @MX-CO

Awesome Story and I'm not even sure I would call it luck. It sounds like you put yourself in the right place at the right times, Which could be lucky I guess or maybe serendipity! But either way you have a great story! I agree with you on the Stuff can hold you back part, I recently got rid of almost all material possessions, I'm currently traveling the USA in an RV trying to put myself in the right place! I've always struggled financially and I also grew up poor. I'm still struggling a bit but Im planning to work along the way. I'm also chasing a dream to work in a certain industry that I'm passionate about so I'm wanting to meet people and make connections in that industry. Thanks for sharing. God bless you 😀

By living at home with parents that luckily didn’t charge me rent I was able to save and invest well over 100k by age 26. Meanwhile my sister lived on her own and partied often and refused to come back home she was chronically broke and always asking for financial help. However there is a trade off, she was having lots of fun and I felt a bit like a social hermit that was just focused on stacking cash.

First guy's observations about restaurants are dead on. My son didn't go to culinary school, but busted his butt and got in as a line cook and worked his way up at a Michael Mina restaurant. His hard work and talent shown through and he was eventually rewarded his chef jacket as a sous chef. Now, he is constantly bombarded with offers to come to fine restaurants in San Francisco, Miami, and Vegas. Pretty sure that wouldn't be the case, if he'd apprenticed at a lesser known chef's restaurant.

My 2 cents -get an advisor to keep you accountable and aid you make better decisions, Florence Osborn has been helping me a lot, all through my journey. As someone who is a member of a family who is considered as poor in our 3rd world country, money can actually buy my happiness. If I have money, I can finally get rid of my problems and if I can get rid of my problems, I can finally be genuinely happy. Doesnt have to be millions dollars of money tho. Happiness to me is $10k. $10k for others is so easy to achieve, some even consider that as just some change. $10k for us here means life-long of work without rest.

I believe you, thats why i dont agree this idea that constantly gets repeated that money cant buy happiness.If10,000 means you dont have to work for a year, wouldnt that make you happy? It isnt 100% of life, but you can have problems and no money to solve them,or have problems and at least have the money to do something about them.

If being poor makes you unhappy then money can buy you happiness. Money can also save lives if you look at it in a global perspective. When it comes to personal wealth however it boils down to individuals. I know several very rich and miserable people and rich and contempt people. I also know people that have just the basics in life material wise but they are doing fine. In my mind good health is wealth. Everything else is a bonus.

Happiness and sadness are moment, not a perpetual feeling. Money is a great employee but an awful boss. So, if you know how to make your money to make you have free time, then you have freedom of choice. That's the true happiness 🙏🏻

I can answer this. Happiness comes in short bursts. No one feels happy happy joy joy every minute of every day. We are not built for that. My husband and I are a lil more than M's ( on paper before other assets ) and with covid restrictions and the loss of two very young people in our lives the last few years have bummed us out. I cannot get them back with all the money in the world. I also lost some irreplaceable stuff on my computer that 100 K could not get back ( thought I had it all backed up ) and no number on a paper can restore our long lost youth. Vacations suck right now too but things will turn around I'm sure. My husband went back to work ( to get one more lil retirement check for later ) so two new foster kittens is the only thing that's been keeping me sane no matter what our bottom line says. Blesses.
