No. We as a society need to stop thinking that wealth is linked to being blessed, because it makes the opposite true - that people who do not have money are not blessed or somehow not favored by God, which is ridiculous. Those who were kind enough to open their doors were the kind ones. Rich or poor, you will find people who will be jerks and those who will be kind.

I wonder if she used slave labor to have her strawberries picked, lots of strawberry farms in CA have horrible conditions and lots of migrant workers are out there breaking their backs in the sun with little pay. If they didn’t treat their employees well, then their home is paid for on the hard physical labor of others making pennies a day. While they suffer with nothing to take home, the “entrepreneurs” get to sit back in a mansion.

Looks to be Corona Del Mar, not Newport Beach. I used to Uber a lot of those people in that neighborhood. The one thing I've learned from studying them myself is that they specialized in something so incredibly niche and they became the best at it. One guy in that neighborhood, for example, produced frames for million dollar art pieces. Another is in horse racing. Another owns a PE firm for restaurant groups. So specific, but they're the absolute best at it.

I liked when you caught yourself from saying the women was "very lucky" to saying "very blessed".....luck often times has nothing to do with it and its the hard work and determination that is the key factor. Blessed by the best

Too funny, you were on the streets my grandmother lives on as well as my cousin and her family. You were on Narcissus for a bit (it ends at inspiration point), the city is technically Corona del Mar. That’s awesome you bumped into Leonard, I’ve seen him around Big Corona more times than I can count. I thinks it’s awesome that Jan let you in. I’ve never met her and didn’t know her story but as soon as she mentioned strawberries, I wasn’t surprised to learn more about her story. We used to see strawberries floating down the streets in the east part of Irvine and Tustin when heavy rains came in. I bet some of those were hers. What a cool video.

I realized that the power is within me to choose slow living over the superficial rapid-fire lifestyle that would appear to others that I am productive, therefore successful. That outward appearance of my happiness or success to others just doesn't matter me anymore and I feel lighter for it. You just speak it so eloquently....

3:12 as always "business owners" These are the same EXACT responses when I talked to guys in nice cars at intersections pre-internet in mid 90's They told me the same thing. 70% of them said "I own a _______business". 30% said "Sales" Why did I waste the last 25 years working for a company? I would so love to have that view out my backyard!

Many people out there still don't know how to make this wealth, If you are rich or claim to be wealthy, I think it's only proper to at least share a little percentage of how you accumulated your wealth or how you got started.

More impressive than these businesses or these houses was Noah's willingness to face rejection. How many people live with a similar limiting belief, "I can't just knock on these doors and ask to come inside and interview people". YES YOU CAN! And you may even be rewarded for it.
