The first couple is so inspiring! I'm 5 years clean and struggled with several autoimmune diseases and Im 49 and starting all over. I'm in year 2 of learning how to day trade options. With autoimmune diseases, have you tried keto or carnivore? They can be expensive, but with budgeting maybe they can help? Also, good luck with trading! That's a wall I'm terrified of, but only because I don't know anything about it.

Good for them! I built my life from nothing as well. I spent 7 years in prison and then my now exgirlfriend and I started 5 house cleaning businesses that made millions! I was homeless and had $3.17 when we started our 1st house cleaning business. I've started several businesses since then and none of them have cost me over $1500 to start. I wanted to start a business I was hoping my grandson would want to run, so I started selling used appliances and only invested $150. We each work about 10 hours a week and make about $80k a year. Turns out my grandson does not want to stay in this business so we are actually in the middle of starting him another business. It should make $100k the first year if we hustle and up to $500k within a few years. My problem now is that I don't HAVE to work to eat, so I like to sleep until noon 😴

My friends here don't know.... no one knows except my wife, a few friends that found out about 25 years ago and my family. Also, you would never know we have any money. She drives her dream SUV = 2015 CRV and I drive an old minivan and I will put $1 million in to that van to keep it running. lol Heck, she makes 6 figures at her job that she will probably never quit. You do a great job! Keep them coming, I don't know why but I'm hooked!

Idk if these helps but maybe you can start asking: "Is it alright if I ask you.. a personal question?" answer: "yea sure" "How much do you make at your job?" I notice sometimes they never say their salary or they kind of beat around the bush. This can help because they're prepared for the question and you asked permission. Cheers !

Congrats to that photography guy getting equity deals. That is amazing! I'm in digital marketing and now a couple people doing that. It makes sense if you can bring that much value to them. One thing i would say is "follow your passion" isn't always right. Being broke doing something you love or like isn't that great. When you are young, be smart with what you choose. Think where you want to be in 10 years from that profession. Choose something that brings VALUE to the other party. Solve a problem. I chose graphic design. That field is very limited and not much $$$$. You could become a creative director and making 6 figures but i doubt you would be happy. Sure there are some happy creative directors for like Nike or big brands but the GD field is super competitive. Getting past 50K is an accomplishment. Marketing is a better option but its also getting flooded. That brings more value to the company or client and you will then get paid more. It's less stressful and more gratifying. You bring tangible value versus making sweet graphics. Work 3 years as a graphic designer and 3 years in marketing and compare your worth. Its crazy. 3 years of solid experience and you could make over 90K with marketing. Work for yourself (like i am) and you could make more and work less. Work for a company and its 9-5 everyday, jumping through all kinds of hoops. Work for yourself and deliver specific EASY tasks or projects for specific clients. Advertise your services using your marketing knowledge and let them come to you..........then pay others to do the work because they are better than you at that anyways :)))))
