Asiatic Archery Grozer Hungarian Base Bow Part 2

Ever wanted to try Asiatic Archery, where you shoot a traditional recurve type bow using a thumb draw and release?
The first thing that most people do is go out and purchase a bow. But which one, for which style of Asiatic archery? There are different styles of Asiatic archery you ask? I'll help you navigate through the mass of information in a friendly and cordial manner, throwing in a bit of historical perspective along the way.

Does the Siyah have any horn in the middle or down the side of the nocks? I would think you could reduce the Mass out there by almost half and then glue some 3 mil horn each side of the nock. I would think that could fix that shock quite a bit. I would almost bet that they use the same sized Siyah for all thier bows just to have only one standard part for the entire spread of bow. From 20 lbs to 120 lb draw weight. Great video. I seen your video on your new Korean bow 1st and left a comment. have fun. Bob Jackson, Papillion, Nebraska

It is whacking becaus the loops on the string are too small . It is hitting the bow upon departure . Find string with at least 5" loop on the end of the string .

Hi Jeff, I own this now in 50#. Maybe I am not quite sensitive but I don't feel any relevant hand shock...

If you have the correct weight of arrow you can eliminate most of the hand shock. I imagine as it is a 50# you have some fairly stiff and heavy arrows?

@@armin2291 I purchased this exact bow off of my friend today and I must say it's very accurate but the hand-shock is totally BRUTAL!!! It really feels like a failure on the bowyer's part. But there may be a technique to shoot this bow...I just need to find it, though...
