I leave mine long on top with a 1 fade on the sides. I either cut a line in for my part or get a design somewhere.

For me, it's not even all about the cut itself, but also the experience. I'm not saying don't go and get a fresh line or anything, but I've had the same barber since I was 9, and I'm going on 19 now. It's an experience that can't be replaced when you go in with your dad for the first time to get a cut, and they make you feel like one of the men. And just to throw it out there, I like to get a fade on the sides, Mohawk, and then finished with the curl sponge.

***** .. People waste wayyyy too much time on this white/black/asian/latino thing...I love my culture, I love being black, it has it's positives and its negatives, just like any other culture. With that being said, I appreciate other cultures besides my own, and my mother doesn't care, as long as I remain a good person like she raised me to be.
