I grew my hair out for a year and recently cut it all and I feel great! S/o to Mely my barber

I'm really loving all the hairstyles that have been popular the past few years, but I'm having trouble finding something that I feel "fits" me. I'm 31, so the receding hairline is starting to be a "thing," and I have psoriasis on my scalp, so these fades down to the skin aren't exactly an option. Any good barbers out there have any suggestions?

ewatford how far back is your hairline? I would recommend maybe a 1.5/2 on the sides if irritation is a problem

Because the barber game is weak. Todays 'new wave' barbers make the haircut experience about themselves, and not the client. Chop shops across the country ruined this trade/industry. Long gone are the days when actual licensed barbers could perform fades and tapers with nothing more than shears and 44/20's. Now its about modding clippers, using 20+ guards, and over-complicating the haircuts. Its not a damn rap video...
