Sure it's an ego boost but that's it, then I think of how they treat their own men as a result of this "want" and I realise that there's probably very little if anything we actually connect over. If I was born a different skin colour they probably wouldn't even give me the time of day, and any illusion of romance falls apart. I am an average sized, fairly fit Chinese man who has had his share of dating asian and white women. I had a few long term relationships with white women, even married a blonde haired blue eyed woman for a number of years. If you are comfortable in your own skin, people will notice.

I have a high school friend who up until now has only had white girlfriends. His circle of friends is also mostly non-Asian (predominantly white) people as well. The thing is, we don't live in an area where theres barely asian people. As a matter of fact we live in a city with one of the highest populations of Asian people outside of Asia. And yet he's only had white girlfriends. He said he doesnt like Asian girls and I should've pressed him more about that and I regret that I didn't. He's still my friend but yeah point is there are a few Asian guys although not many that also have that internalized racism.

Furthermore I have medium/full lips combined with hazel eyes that are both light and dark, hair that is light and dark, and skin that can burn and tan, with more body hair than even some pure caucasians. All this to say I am sick of white worshippers, because of the fact that I have Caucasian sprinkled in my blood and I am male and sometimes I appear white and I don’t want to deal with people that are only attracted to me because I appear whitish.

Shy? If you have real japanese or real chinese men (which did grow up in their country), they are definitley not shy. Of course everybody is individual and shy people exist, but its not average. Often foreigners misunderstand politneness with being shy. In public they are maybe more on distance, but when being alone in a private place (like at somebodys home), well ... 😏🔥 I think the east asian men who did grow up in a foreign, western country have more tendency to be shy because they are a minority. Dude, they are not too much migrated to america not even on top 10 for imgrated to usa. Especially malaysian or indonesian their country quite stable and they are majority muslim, muslim men only marry muslim girl thats it. I have quite a lof of friends from there

It is what it is. Everyone has their own opinions & likes what they like. 👍😊 I don't think it is "ditzing" any particular Asian group...it is a preference.

The whole preference argument played on repeat is such a cop out. If you ONLY date a certain type, it’s discrimination. Preference is something you prefer, but doesn’t stop you from dating others just because of their race. For example, if a man is good looking and checks all the boxes, but you won’t date him because he’s Asian, that becomes discrimination, especially if it’s due to stereotypes that I’ve heard many Asian women say. Like he must have a toxic family, not be able to show affection, or be a misogynist simply because he’s Asian.

Yes, u are right, asian women dont hesitate to put their preference for white men and blatantly dig on asian men, similarly asian men should do the same, it is just a payback, i hope they get a realization on how asian men feels.

It's sad to see that the culture of USA/Canada is driving division within young Asian adults. Hopefully they will bananarang back to the community and not turn into Chans or Lu's.

All things equal always prefer my own come on now
