Phase 4 is winning the major trophies. Phase 5 is doing it again and again.

He once said he wins on bets to fund his travels lol. Watch him then mock me for being an overseas fan, even though I've been to London twice to watch my team.
I’d love to have seen Arteta’s sales pitch to the Kroenke’s. Clearly they were all in on day 1.
It is so refreshing as an arsenal fan to know that the people at the club have a clear plan for where we are going. 'Cough cough united and chelsea.' 😂😂😂😂😂
Alex is Odegaard with the flair and creativity when speaking. Great knowledge of the game and the captain of the podcast. Bhavs is Partey, great points but goes missing occasionally due to Illness / watery eyes / allergies George is Trossard, comes up with clutch points, cuts through the bullshit.

@@JohnEllis-le9ym planning is not a prayer. You just have to do it realistically and execute it correctly. If it doesn’t happen, that means you stuck in the phase and redo it again fixing the stepping stones and adjusting the roadmap. It’s what he basically said in his interview. To your point, I’m hoping to have phases with shorter time span.
@JohnEllis-le9ym

@@yismalemyifa1999 Save your 'phases with shorter time span' and excuses for 4 trophy less years as i've heard them all a 1000 times before. The fact is you've been foolishly duped by the club into trusting a never ending process and all this phase 4, stepping stones and roadmap nonsense is just to you excusing their failings because your "But it's Mikels first job in charge' and 'it took Klopp 4 years' narratives are no longer valid. Finally, how much do you pay for your season ticket?
If the world doesn't end in war, I truly believe Arteta could take arsenal to 3/4 premier league titles and 2 champions league titles in 10-15 years. If he doesn't and moves to Barcelona then he will win there. I'm so happy we have him. I believe him and Alonso will be formidable managers in the future.
Big ups to Bhavs for having reasonably dry eyes 🙏🙏🙏
Phase 1: Reset like alex said Phase 2: Getting rid of deadweight, setting up the premises of football we want to play Phase 3: Being good enough to challenge for the trophies if not winning them Phase 4: Winning major trophies Phase 5: Doing it again and again consistently
super excited for phase 4 😭teta ball is so infectious aint gon lie
For me the phases are best explained in the following way Phase 1 - Reset setting the non-negotiables and applying discipline across the whole club Phase 2 - Connecting Bringing Arsenal back together to become one club full of players, staffs and fans again pulling in the same direction whatever the weather Phase 3 - Believing We belong back on the big stage with the best of the best Phase 4 - Achieving Winning a big trophy 🏆 Phase 5 - Maintaining and evolving Making winning trophies an habit year in year out Come on Arsenal
Had watery eye but still watched it 🤣
Phase four is achieving match dominance and winning something. Phase five is inevitability. During this phase, when Arsenal goes into a match against City, 9 out of 10 pundits will predict an Arsenal victory, and Opta will give benefit of the doubt to Arsenal in title predictions algorithms.
I believe phase 1 was Culture.
Arteta went over the phases in All or Nothing I believe
Arteta: we are in Phase 3. This will culminate in Infinity War and Endgame. And Phase 4? Arteta: We touch balls.
Honestly sounds like you describing '5S' work place system....which weirdly makes sense, I can imagine Arteta using ideas like that 🤔 (5S = Sort/Set in Order/Shine/Standardize/Sustain)
Great one as always boys 👌
Pretty sure early on Arteta stated it was: Culture, Commitment, Competing, winning, dominating so we are verging on 4
Phase 1 = clear out dead wood. Might have to buy short term. Might have to allow lower place in league Phase 2 = buy young, players to fit system, get back into Europe, maybe a domestic cup Phase 3 = buy big players. Get into champ league regularly Phase 4 = win league and/or champ league, continue to buy big superstars Phase 5 = big players now getting older ; might need to reset transition & back to phase 1

I think the phases don't just have to do with the game on the pitch but the club overall.
See a few fans here thinking the latter phases mean winning. Winning titles is never bad but I think any rational objective plan should focus exclusively on internal change. Eg phase 1 - unlearn phase 2 - discover phase 3 - decide phase 4 - grow phase 5 - maintain and keep learning So it should be club/squad centric. Trophies aside I think Arteta is your typical profile of a still young individual with a fair bit of experience from his playing days and limited managerial chops not unlike a mid career banker leaving the bright lights to set up his own advisory firm. I think our phase 5 will be, compared to our earlier days of being called Man City lite to become a Man City prime, but with Arsenal DNA. With squad culture being stronger than star culture nowadays, I think the end game is club culture, where perhaps at least half the players are home-grown or promoted internally. I implore my fellow fans to witness the growth and transformation over hankering after trophies and titles. It’s a new way of watching football now too.
bhavvs when are you uploading another video bro
I think realistically, what is happening this year in terms of the teams around us, is what Arteta and his team projected would happen last year. Us getting closer to Liverpool/City and being in the thick of the title race late into the season. Last year, with the massive drop off of Chelsea and Liverpool, likely propelled us to a higher rung then we needed to be. With it came additional pressure and we were unable to adapt well enough. Our squad wasn't deep enough, and we ultimately failed at the final hurdle. I think the Phase thing is less about the timeline, and more about evaluation of where we are at the end of the year, its not linear flow, it is more akin to a process flow: IF Phase 3 -> THEN must be competitive at the top of the table IF Win major trophy -> THEN move to phase 4 to stay consistently winning trophies IF No trophy -> THEN stay in phase 3 and find squad solutions to get to phase 4 IF dropped off top of the table -> THEN go to phase 2 and reset

"We are STILL in PHASE 3" of the process that we can't give a completion date for Only at Arsenal...
The Arsenal fans guide to supporting 4 years of embarrassing failure & trusting a never ending process ... Phase 1 - After sacking Unai Emery who had you finishing 5th, beg the club to appoint a proper manager Phase 2 - After an ex average at best Everton midfielder is appointed, dry your tears and back him Phase 3 - Rate him as "world class and elite" after he wins the FA Cup. He's a Genius!!! Phase 4 - After bottling the league and 4 trophy less years, hide the embarrassment by calling it 'progress' Phase 5 - Keep trying to convince yourself that it's Mikels 1st job in charge and that it took Klopp 4 years Phase 6 - Cry because everyone hates you and discover and then over use the word 'agenda' Phase 7 - Repeat Phases 4, 5 & 6
The only thing Arteta's getting close to is 4 trophy less years on the bounce and if anyone thinks i'm wrong then i'm more than happy to bet any of you $10k that i'm 100% right Who's got the balls to then?
