Sesko makes sense. Good talent , has potential, The price is great. He grows under havertz and adds his skillset. We save our budget to spend elsewhere. He would score more then eddie & actually get minutes. Saves us money to spend elsewhere.

Strategy: The helpers of robbers are the agents themselves, taking bribes so to control European transfers.. for example Haaland only cost 60 million euros on papers.. but Arsenal was forced to pay higher for every single “quality” player if not the rich will steal. signing Rice raised to more than 100 million. I LOVE that we're going after Sesko. He's absolutely towering in the box, he takes up great positions, and it wouldn't be surprising if he also played at LW as he progresses. Havertz can absolutely take the reins until Sesko can run it. Havertz would also benefit massively from having a true striker to play off of.

Think about crosses. Saka whipping it in to Sesko, havertz, Gabriel, saliba! It’s crazy height and it means teams prob drop good but short players when playing us. I think Arsenal need to get back to signing tall players again. It’s damn imposing to play against a tall squad. Get Sesko and guimeras and damn, that’s a hefty lineup full of skill and grit

@@ejima74 More like Saka would not want to be on the bench. ManCity share the minutes between 17-19 players. Arsenal always play the same 12-13 players. The minutes can be evenly shared if all of your players are good enough. Then it will create a situation that you are neither a starting player nor a bench player.

I tend to agree with the guy on the right. If Arsenal score the same number of goals next year as we did this year - and there is nothing to indicate that we won't as the whole team and attacking chemistry improves - but reduce the number of goals conceded by a further 8 - 10, we earn two to three more wins and are PL champions. Furthermore, making the defense air tight is key to advancing beyond the quarterfinals of the CL with the elimination of the away goals rule. A comprehensively impregnable defense is the foundation for a future Arsenal dynasty. Therefore, left back is the key position of weakness in the team. It is where we most need a proven, world-class performer on par with Declan Rice. I also concur that buying a talented but unproven striker like Sesko at 21 yrs old for 40 million, along with a young and talented prospect to compete with Saka, should also be the other top priority. Under Arteta and Edu, the team's future is really bright. Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal!!!

Tomi is always injured but he is solid in defence LB/CB/RB which is why i think arteta will keep him he can play all defensive positions. Timber looks very good but only just getting back from injury we have no idea how consistent he will be. Its a shame all his momentum from having a good season at ajax was ruined by that injury. That being said, i only really think timber is good enough. So i would like atleast 1 new defender. Low spend on defenders is doable if we have good scouting. But even so other league will price a ST prospect at 100m and a CB prospect who is just as good will be 50m. A lot of good options in CB are out there, ST and a innovative winger are more important to me. Midfield we do need another strong and tall mid if not a technical and all around player… i know it wont happen but imagine jude next to odegaard right now with rice CDM… that kind of profile in midfield… cant believe we sold xhaka to be honest.

If Arteta signing Zinchenko leaves??? Really?

It's not matter if we can score goals or not. 22/23 season we are relentless in attack, 23/24 we are solid at the back, 24/25 is more likely to make our team even thicker, more unpredictable, and more balanced. Arteta has 10 different tactics for example, still missing something for tactic no9 and tactic no10. Its more complicated than we can think as a casual football fans, but Arteta he knew what the team needed.

Guys we need Nico Williams, I'm an athletic club and arsenal fan. I've seen Nico since he begun playing and he's proved everytime he's expected to. He reminds me to Saka in the way he had to overcome a lot. Last year at Copa del rey he was victim to racism and he didn't deliver at that time. But this year he has carried the team to win the Copa del Rey and athletic was one of the best teams of la liga because of him. And also he gets 2v1ed every time, so in an arsenal shirt I see him with more freedom. He presses well, plays really well on both feet (you guys have to see the Copa del rey match against Barcelona, it was class), has a delicate touch also passing and can go 1v1 with tricky but effective dribbles. Arteta must sign him, I really believe it cause he is a better version of doku, and if we don't get him, some other big team in Europe will do it

I didn't say that Arsenal need to spend 100m on a ST I said we need to spend the marquee money on a fwd to give us transitional inevitability. I gave an example of a ST I like at 100m and in the same sentence said we can achieve this in another way at LW as well. I'm not married to either scenario. But its clear I dont want project investment in the frontline to solve our moments- we have goals we need inevitable transitions/efficiency in the final third. -George

Sesko is good but will not win you the Champions league. Other teams are buying Mbappe and Harry Kane. That's why partly we have gone 20years without a trophy 🏆. Teams purchased Ronaldo, Suarez while Arsenal settled for mediocrity. We have to remember that Stan Kroenke the owner of Arsenal, also owns the Denver Nuggets(the current NBA champions) They are champions largely because they contracted the Three Time MVP of the NBA. That's the best player in the NBA for the past 3 seasons. It's the equivalent of Arsenal contracting Kylian Mbappe.

One of the biggest criticisms of Arteta is the lack of use of our Academy players. We should really give chances to players like Nwanieri, Odi Martin etc.

I honestly think we need a LB that does what Ben White does. I quite like the thought of what Arteta could do with someone like Antonee Robinson. This would mean our entire back-line would be 6ft+ and although we have this when Kiwior or Tomi have played, Robinson would be next level without having to break the bank. I would also go with Guimaraes as he would add bite to our midfield and give us a monster of a midfield. I want someone to act as real competition for Saka or to even replace Martinelli, who has dropped off, and Olise is the top pick. As for a CF, I am not against Havertz at all, but if we have someone who can finish off the opportunities we create on a consistent basis, then that someone for me has to be Osimhen. I know this is a lot of money, but we can dream and aim big!

I don’t think we need a Haaland. Haaland scores a lot, then? It means that everyone in ManCity are creating for him, instead of creating for each other to have everyone scoring. The TOTAL number of goals that ManCity scores is not going to be increased because Haaland is there. He just takes away the number of goals his teammates could have scored. A lot of English fans and casual fans overrate G/A and efficiency. They forget that where do G/A comes from. They are from build up play. If you have a high G/A but you don’t have much build up play contribution, it means that you are just taking the G/A from your teammates, because the TOTAL overall G/A of your TEAM, won’t increase if you don’t add more build up play into it. Arsenal don’t have a scoring problem. We score a lot of goals in total.

Martinelli needs to earn his place back. Trossard is still a class player. Id say Williams osihmen saka with martinelli/trossard/jesus all playing backup… but then we have a havertz problem… unless one of trossard/jesus/martinelli is sold how can we fit in kai unless we go back to trying him in midfield…

Maybe what George is referring to as "traditional inevitability" can also be seen as a "maverick" superstar type player (think Osimhen, Mbappe, Vini Jr, Leao, etc). I think that one of Arteta's next tests is going to be whether or not he is not only able to sign and manage this type of player but also whether or not he is willing to give players the freedom to become that profile. I say this with Saka in mind, who I think could absolutely transform into that type of player if he is given more freedom.

Less about a maverick per se but the gravity those same players have in transition + final third. Look at the way those players attract defenders but also get their teams up the pitch reliably. We lack consistent decision making in transition enough to make teams pay for their errors we force in the faux transitions we create. Defs agree on adding offensive freedom to platform our attackers more. -George

The striker in my opinion needs to be the finished article or just about to be. Like Trossard was when he joined and then went to a new level, a prime. That can be found in the league itself who are Isak or Watkins.

The best time to spend on a position is when you don’t need it, because you’re less likely to overpay for it. Not saying we need to spend a pretty penny on a defender, but if you can get a quality defender at a bargain price, do it.

When talking about improving our forward line, we are quick to talk about stikers and wingers. However, I dont think Arteta sees it that way. I think he will want to improve our fluidity down our left hand side to get more goals out of our attack as a unit. So yes, I do think a Bruno is more likely to be our big signing. Arteta also hinted at this in one of his press conferences when talking about Havertz role, saying he might be the 9 more often than the 8, still leaving an vacancy there. But most importantly, it will all depend on availability in the market. We dont control 100% who we can get. Its not Fifa career mode. And if the market for midfielders is better than strikers this year, than that is what we are most likely to do.

Summerville doesnt look bad, but man have you seen nico williams? I think he would genuinely change our game and boost us up a level offensively. He takes players on for fun, faster than martinelli and equally if not better dribbling than jesus only 21 yrs old. We cant allow him to go to a chelsea/utd/ Liverpool if other prem teams start skulking around him. I genuinely think he is very good and im happy so far only arsenal are interested.

I like simons and being as he keeps being loaned i think we can get him. De jong always snubbed us and seems comfortable in barca so i doubt. And i also doubt Newcastle will allow us to get any of their players. Osihmen, leao and simons playing cam/cm with odegaard is the dream for me. If im really dreaming id say pedri haha. Realistically some players just wont move clubs unfortunately. If not then, sesko, nico williams, and a player like marcus thuram would be a good window for us.

There is a wing that has totally let us down this season when compared to the other, a lot of chopping and changing no set players both in the defence and forward position.

We need depth and we need a different profile in attack. I feel like the kid fits both of those things, id love this signing

Not convinced by Sesko, he seems to be a little short in the skills and IQ for us. Perhaps he will grow into the role, but he is not as good as kai, He is all potential.If we are looking for a replacement for Nketiah, why not Biereth? I think our strongest need is a number six. Partey takes too many touches and as he gets slower he gives the ball away a bit,and Jorgi is not nailed on for the season. A good use of cash would be a two footed winger who can take the load off Saka and Martinelli and a left back who is quick good IQ(can cope with inverting) and accurate long passing. I like Lewis Skelly and think he should be pushed forward in to the leftback role, whether he can leap the chasm between academy anf 1st team is not 100% clear in my mind, however Nwaneri is a shoe in as a squad player in the first team next term (I would be tempted to gaffa tape a physio's sponge to his left boot in training so he uses his right more, but even so he is good enough.

No guys we need Alexander Isak if we can get him he will take us to that next level!! Forget the project the project needs completion now it’s been a good season if we don’t win anything but next season if we going to spend more we need to win something not the community shield or the league cup the league champions league or least the FA cup if we don’t and finish second again it will be a failure.

I love Sesko. I've watched a lot of him and the only player I can compare him to, is a white version of Alexander Isak. They are so similar its scary. Tall. Good feet. Explosive. Great ball striking. Rapid. But he'll cost half the price of Isak. Isak would be my no.1 target. Followed by Sesko. Sesko also allows us to spend more elsewhere.

Nothing alike. Isak is world class in transition and can drive with the ball. Sesko suffers in transition the same way as Havertz and can’t drive with the ball. He is a pure 9.

I just don’t get Alex and George’s lack of focus on midfield. It’s clear Mikel doesn’t want to use Declan at 6, this was pretty clear in the charity shield, and once we started singing from Jan. Look back to the cluster of games we lost in December, Declan played 6 in all of those games, I love Declan but he isn’t the player to break lines in a mid block which is kryptonite to Arsenal. Thomas is but he can’t stay fit, and is likely to leave. J20 showed he can do that he was 6 in the run of games post Jan with Kai up and we looked terrific. J20 isn’t going to play every game, so we need a world class 6, Declan is world class defensively and at ball carrying and he passes very well, but he isn’t cute enough to find ways through a mid block. Zubimendi or Guimares would work, but whatever we bring in we have to bring in a world class 6 that can break lines and launch attacks. This is absolutely critical!

@@thierryhenry674almost yes, he can dribble and pass davies is very talented. I do think i prefer more of a traditional fullback with good crossing like ashley cole though. White has shown he is a perfect box to box full back but he is obviously very strong defensively. Zinchenko was the right idea, but he is so WEAK defensively. If we can have a technical playmaker like zinchenko with even HALF decent defensive capabilities we will be alright.

Sesko must be the priority striker now . Arsenal cannot keep making the same mistakes by waiting too long,then, he's gone elsewhere and his price trebles.Arsenal do everything to get Sesko now.

It’s worth looking at the treatment of Darwin Nunez at Liverpool. Klopp has faith in him and seems to love him, but he’s being massively criticized publicly. That sort of thing can hurt a developing striker in an elite side

If we get Sesko + Havertz that means we are out of the striker market for the next 3-4 years. So the question is, do Sesko+Kai equip us with anything new? And does that compensate any future losses on missing out on stars in the future? Sesko has ballstriking, and the ability to quickly get the ball out of his feet and shoot with power. Aside from that, him and Havertz are identical. He will be a great striker, but I think Arsenal can do much, much better. Paying 50m for a striker, to where we will have 2 strikers, who won’t offer us anything different is lackluster. With Sesko we will still struggle to have a CF who can hold up the ball to a world class level, generate transitions and carry the ball. Our next CF should be someone who actually offers us something different in attack, or a true world class talent who can maximise Saka, Martinelli, Ødegaard. Sesko+Kai will probably work, they will both score many goals but I feel there is another level we can achieve at Arsenal. This signing would be rather short termist thinking. I’m all up for signing a project striker, but Kai Havertz himself as a striker is still a bit of a project, who still has a long way to go. Having both in the squad would mean one would have to leave in the next couple years.

Genuine question, why is Isak not considered at all? Is Newcastle adamant on not selling him?

He can also be permanent as a left winger too.

We have two left sided attackers who have not nailed down a starting spot and a RW who absolutely has - we need a LW more than a RW. Martinelli, Trossard and Jesus can all fill in for Saka in a pinch and we've seen Vieira play there a few times so bodies at RW aren't really an issue.

Project signing should be either Joao Neves (if he doesnt join the United trainwreck) or Leny Yoro (if Real go with Rafa Marin instead). Osimhen has questionmarks but Mikel will make him better than Haaland (he's already by far a more complete striker, just not a better one yet).

I wouldn’t be unhappy with Guimaraes and Kudus as two primary signings with whatever else needs to be filled. If Gabriel Jesus is sold we can bring in a star #9, but I don’t think he is going anywhere, and so we will still have him and Havertz for next season. Arsenal didn’t sign Kudus last summer but we now know they weee short on money based on what they has to do for Raya. Rumors are he has a release clause in his contract with West Ham, maybe aroun 50m. If so he can be brought in as alternate to Saka and for CF depth, with Eddie likely to be sold.

Signings in summer Ousmane diomande -CB/DM Sesko-CF JOAO FELIX ON LOAN(CAN PLAY ALL FRONT THREE) MOVE ZICHENKO IN MIDFIELD.

The question is, how much better would Sesko be under Arteta's coaching? Honestly, I'd get Sesko now, even if it takes time for him to come good. Nketiah upgrade.

Sesko Zubamendi and possibly bring Thierny back for a season and move Zincheko to midfield as not a left back and if did that then possibly not need a midfielder this summer free up money for another signing. Nelson go Nieketia Lokongo Jesus Partey which should boost kitty. I think bringing back Thieray for 1 season would boost market value plus free up funds with moving Zichenko.

Wingers can play both positions usually. But i think its because they are talking about the 1st team. Obviously nobody is happy with our LW yet permanently after martinelli had a bad season. Saka is obviously here to stay and nobody can push that RW off him.
