This is the true test of whether this is a narrative breaking Arsenal team. In the past, going in as favourites, against a depleted team who are in bad form, Arsenal don't get the result. If Arsenal can dominate Utd, get a bag full of goals and make them look as bad as they are, then I think that the narrative shifts around this team. Even if they don't win the league, going into 24/25 with the swagger of a confident team who put teams to the sword would do wonders for the squad

Goal difference will only matter if City draw a game. So if we win by 1 goal in the last 2 games that means we're +4 on them. They would need to win the non drawn game by 4 goals. Saying that, hope we batter Utd by 3 goals, that would make goal difference a non-issue.

@RIVANZORA Yeah but it will only matter if they draw against Spurs. If we get two 1-0's then they need 4 goal difference against West Ham. But if they draw I can't see us only winning by 1 goal against Everton. If 2-0, City need 5-0, if 3-0 they need 6-0 etc. It's a moot point though tbh because City will probably smash Spurs and West Ham and win on points.

Hi Charles! From Johnny. Good that we got 3 points. Raya and Saliba really really reliable today. But honestly won’t give Odegaard&Ben White more than 5 today. White just couldn’t handle a decent winger in 1v1 and is not really technically gifted enough to be the inverted fullback in a pressurised away game. It has been a problem for a long time and he was exposed today. Odegaard misplaced a few passes, but more importantly got bodied by Ambrat a few times and seem very irresponsible in the defensive phase when the team plays a non-pressing game. Even our no.9 Havets dropped deeper than him quite a few times and he gambled a few times on where the ball would go, leaving United players wide open in the final third. Overall happy for the win and a meaningful final day. COYG

This will be another exciting and difficult game for Arsenal to win at Old Trafford. It will not be a walk in the park, so Arsenal must be at their best if they are to win tonight's match against an angry Manchester United. Some may or may not agree with me when I said in my previous post that we have already blown our chances of winning the Premier League this season. We blew it when we lost to Aston Villa due to a silly, unforced error. That match determined our chances of winning the EPL. We should never be in a situation where we hope Manchester City loses one of their remaining games. I can honestly say that Manchester City will not falter, and we should accept that they will be the EPL champions again this season. Arsenal has a lot to learn after failing to deliver yet again. We had the chance to win the EPL this season. I am sure Pep will be scratching his head after we lost to Aston Villa. Why did Arsenal let this happen again? Anyway, Arteta knows what to do, and I am sure he is working on regrouping the team for next season, bringing in a good goal scorer that we are lacking right now, and then strengthening the team again by letting go of all the deadwood that is not contributing to the team. If football had any logic to it this shouldn't even be a competition; by halftime arsenal should well and truly be out of sight in terms of winning this game. I don't see why we are creating unnecessary hype over this game when the table tells you that the only team in England better than Arsenal is City. You play the 11 men infront of you and not the legacy of the name ofba team from ages ago. Man United today isn't the same team from yester year. All we need to do is keep doing what we've been doing all season and we should be good. I don't see why we keep talking about United like they are Manchester City

Honestly, "just got to win" might not be good enough. We have a goal difference advantage of 2 goal. City could draw against shit then decimate west ham like they have been with every other team. We could win our last two games 1-0 and still lose the league to city on goals scored.

Arsenal need to beat Man Utd convincingly because our goal difference has been decimated. Past records against Man Utd are irrelevant unless you have a weak mentality. Arsenal must be masters of the moment and demonstrate they are good enough to be champions! The players must be disciplined and controlled in the first 20 minutes of the first and second half but treat the game as a cup knock-out match. They must be ruthless and clinical!
