Thanks again Mark, yes its amazingly effective. Just ordered a new battery for my Kenwood so hopefully will be getting it out again soon. Best 73 catch you soon.

brilliant tripod mate iv got the same one have been busy today taking my beam down and getting things ready to put it up and im thinking of getting a 2m 70cm beam and putting it up with the 3 elerment for my dmr and when i finaly do my test but great vid sy dead interesting can;t wait for more

Good tripods I've had a long time its brilliant. Good idea get them on whilst its convenient saves doing it later. Should be able to work you on 2m ssb. Good luck when its your exam cant wait to work you

Nice one Simon. I tend not to bother with Doppler shifting of freq on AO91/92 when using my handies. Too much faff..... Have a good evening

Me neither I leave it fixed on the Kenwood and tune down on the yaesu. Works well on FM no real need to struggle like you said too much faff lol
