@@richduperbash2966 Fantastic run brother. How are your batteries holding up? I've got the m2c hotness on it, but been holding off on motor just because I feel like I'll need to get a whole new fleet of higher quality 4s packs to handle the amp draw of the motor and the additional weight.

@@dis3nchant3d42 thanks Brother 🤗!!!! My packs are holding up great Bro👊. I did have to close my trays back up and start using yoga mat under my packs though. I'd earlier moved the rear tray portion rearward with padding in the front to change the weight distribution. That created a gap on the bottom. Turns out it was allowing my packs to flex in that gap and cracked my casings across the middle at the gravel pit 😱. Fortunately, all my cells are fine. Gorilla tape to the rescue. Now running the trays stock with padding and the truck is doing Killer 😍🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

Hey Rich this was a great video for me to enjoy during these cold months 🥶☃️🇨🇦. Man that truck is really ripping and I love that terrain your on. Similar to what I run in. I want this truck come spring time. And I will do the same setup I think as I want that performance. I love this rig because I run on rutted out undeveloped neighbourhood construction areas so the big truck would make ease of the terrain

Lovin all the videos Rich! Got my K8s carbon support exo-skeleton, 23t pinion, and 500k/20M/100k diff fluids and punch set to 5. It's a beast. Temps running fine on full battery runs so far. Not sure how much more gearing the stock motor/ESC can handle, but this sure makes me wanna try some more gearing. Great driving man! Super fun to watch!

The stock electronics are very efficient too. Just tested my prototype M2C SWB Kraton 8s chassis ... AKA "Stunt truck" version today 😱. It's a dang wild animal 😜. Was able to front flip it, but didn't have the traction for a double BF. Hopefully post a vid on it by tomorrow. Really opens the doors on this platform. Appreciate the kind words Brother 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊

Hi rich hope you are doing well 👍💪 I have a little bit of a problem with the kraton 8s 🤔 I bought two smart batteries from spektrum and the charger s1200 DCsmart charger But the problem is that the charger doesn't come with a leed cord and the connectors ove the charger are too small for the spektrum smart batterys that i bought. So my questions are the following : no1 :can I put xt 60 on the batterys and not connect the wire of the smart chip, and charge them with my over charger. No2 :will xt60 connectors be big enough for the power? No3 :if i put xt60 on the car will that limit the power going to the esc and servos!? Hope you can help me out mate because don't want to do something stupid See you Saul 👍👌💪✌️👊

Rich, awesome bashing as usual. Question: I up’s my pinion to a 23t and love it but now my truck has a super loud (gearing sound). Possible to explain how much play the pinion should have up against the drive gear? Not sure if I’m too close or too far away. Thanks man!

Thanks so much Ed 😜!!!! The 5687 1100kv is working great so far 👍. It's got all the power and torque I was really looking for. The K8s really is amazing for a first release. Fortunately, we're not seeing really cold weather this winter. That's helped with the plastics for sure. I bought spare arms but haven't needed them yet. Think I saw you posted up a vid earlier 👀. Well thanks for the setup information! I gotta tell you I love this Beast but I would get killed when I came in saying I just spent close a Grand with taxes for this. I can buy a new Drone almost no issues. There is however a ceiling on my RC Trucks. So i'm really thinking about the 6S Kraton or maybe the Infraction. I'm also thinking about the Gen 2 E-Revo. Lots of choices but that price wow. I was floored when i saw it. Great video as always, wish I could wear shorts in Iowa year around. Must be rough Guys.

I'd go with the Kraton 6s Harry 😱. She's the benchmark for go anywhere basher's 👀. Plus all the upgrade options are readily available if you choose to customize her. Wonder what your run times are like with the 29T Pinion on yours with them batt's? I'm still on stock Electronics, just tuned Diff's , punch settings to 5 etc... I'm running 23T Pinion & goes well enough, Temps are cool, so goona try 25T next, hoping ESC don't take a dump with bigger Pinion, before I get round to upgrading to Max5 Lol.

I'm getting good run times with my Hobbywing set-up. System seems very efficient overall. Has way more torque now. Hope you're digging this Big Beast 😱👍👍😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Peter 😜!!!! The K8s felt totally dialed out there 🤗. She excels at these bigger terrain spots. As far as oils for your V4, that's really a preference thing 🤔. I actually like the stock 80 weight shock oils. For diffs I'm running 50/500/20k front to rear in both of my Kraton 6s rigs. Which wheels are you running 🤔😎💪👊👊

I have a red, black and chrome/silver theme on the build and I therefore bought some parts more for the "looks", rather than just performance. 😉 So I bought the "Louise MT Rock" 3.8 tires with 1/2 offset and chrome rims, to match the M2C parts and new body paint theme. (Maybe they are called "Duratrax" in your region, or perhaps it is two different brands..?) They are very heavy and wide, but they have a ton of grip in the sand pit, are dirt cheap and look awesome. 👍😎 But I do not know how strong and good they really are yet though. I hope to finish the build today, but I have some tuning left to do before I can give it a real go. All the best! 👊 /Peter

I run the stock 40 weight because I want relative easy chassis slap. These shocks can bend under extreme use and being over-dampened with big sends puts more load on the arms, shafts, and rod ends. I've since switched to M2C Racing Delrin O ring style pistons. I tuned them to pair up nicely with the stock 40 weight oil during testing for simplicity 👍. Should be testing some M2C hardened 01 tool steel Kraton 8s shafts soon. If you're not bending shafts with 60 weight and like the handling/performance then stick with it 🍻. I keep an open mind with different set-ups and believe in using what works best for each situation and preference.🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

Thanks Naim 🤗!!!! Temps are great 👍. ESC about 90F, motor 110-120F. I'm using both Hobbystar 6500mah 100c and 8000mah 100c 4s hard packs from RCJuice. Run times are 20-25 minutes depending on driving style. 😎💪👊👊

@@Crewchief227 I would just run the 23T and watch temps. I'd think 21-23 would be about perfect with that kv anyways. Mitch should have the mounts up on his site by next week 🤔. The Delrin inserts make for silky smooth movement with the hinge pins 😍😎💪👊👊

👍 Best Send it Bash video for the 8s Kraton on KZread right now. Dude you hung your nuts from the ceiling on this one. I just got mine back together today with 20mill in center, I painted the clear body and decals, set timing to 7.5 and breaks to 50%. I'm gonna try that baseline tune and see how she does. May go pinion soon cheers 👍

I just went to a covered parking garage and ripped it, it's still unloading quite a bit to the front wheels, almost no different than before with the 20 million in the center. I wonder why? Maybe because it's cold out and it's not melted into the spider gears? I'd hate to have to tear it apart again to put more in it if it's too low? I pressed a big dollop in there and pushed it back together and it was a tad more firm before reassembly when I twisted it by hand. Any ideas?

@@dicktrickle4197 something sounds amiss 🤔. I could barely turn mine by hand and actually had to remove a tad of the 20mil because mine felt locked and overfilled 👀. Used the Gravity RC brand. I'm not sure, but I'd break back into it and check it out. Perhaps you need more in the cup. Mine was past the cross pins. Basically left space to get it buttoned up again. 👍

@@richduperbash2966 you know I think it is the consistency....when I ordered 2.5 million and the 20 million, they are not much different, they are but not much. Both are solid and not liquid. It could be that traxxas has their consistency thinner than many other brands. I guess I'll take out the center diff, check fluid level and maybe order some different 20 million. Can you link me to the exact stuff you use please? That would help me a lot lol thanks
