Super video, Pete, looks like a grand day out and a lot of RC related fun for all involved! I always enjoy an RC outing when a few chums share the fun. Cor blimey, Nick was lucky not to get a face full of RC truck! 🤣🤣 That Mojave does look rather spiffing, I do like the short course trucks, hopefully I might be able to add one to my collection this year. Hiya mate. Yeah it was a good session. Funnily I wasn't going to do any videoing as sometimes it's nice to just run the cars but eventually having been there for about an hour already I got the GoPro and and got a few shots and I'm glad I did now. Oh yeah I thought that Simon had cleverly judged the landing to not quite hit Nick but it turned out that he couldn't actually see where he was and it was just luck! Yes the Mojave is a very nice bit of bit. I think Arrma did a good job on these latest 4s trucks. Don't think that Tamiya do anything quite like that. Oh yes I have a lovely pint of Gamma Ray on the go so all is well. Cheers for watching and your great feedback mate. Best wishes :-)

Nice vid Pete, that was a fun day! Although I let the side down when my rear wing broke on the Kraton.... Kev's law dictates that I should of then "given it to it now" and smashed the living crap out of it until it split in half and therefore given you some content opportunity... Instead I went for the strange approach of putting it in the car and repairing it when I got home....I can only apologise to you and your viewers and promise that the next time a small part breaks when we are out bashing I shall ensure I immediately pick up the car and hurl it into the path of an oncoming bus while asking "what happened" to the puzzled passers by.

Oh yes you were ridiculously cautious Simon. Even getting a mild scuff on the body should result in you putting your RC into an industrial crusher! Try harder next time and remember to bring plenty of spare RC's to destroy 🤣

Lots of Arrma goodness as always, Pete, and even a few clips of one of my favourites, the Hobao VS2, such a cool buggy! But that other brand, it's also not my favourite... I do actually own a car from them, and since I actually like it, I have made it my mission to only buy aftermarket parts for it, ha ha...

Hi there. Oh yes to my shame I do still have a Traxxas Slash although it is only about 50% Traxxas these days 🤣 I might sell it on as the Arrma 3s cars are so much better. I was keeping it as one I could lend to an inexperienced driver because I wasn't too worried about it getting damaged. Many thanks for watching. Much appreciated 😁👍

Oh shame on you for featuring Traxxas Pete! Booooo! 😂 But, boy that looked like a whole heap of fun, you got some awesome footage their fella, especially the air time shots! Where was that location, judging by the sandy soil, gorse bushes and stonechip carpark I am assuming in the New Forest somewhere..... Just not familiar to me this one? It looked like it was made for RC cars though, great location! I bet the hikers look a bit shocked seeing things this big flying through the air.... and being driven by responsible 'adults'?!!! 😂 Great stuff as always. 👍 👍 👍

Ha yeah I couldn't feature Traxxas trucks without a bit of a dig at them. This is at Bolton's Bench in Lyndhurst. This is very near where I lived as a child but we moved away from there before I got my first Tamiya and at that point we were near to Holmsley so that became the RC bash spot of choice. The sand is fun to drive on but it does get everywhere as you know. Anyway a good session was had. Cheers for watch mate. Best wishes to you 😁👍👍

That's the big hill just on the edge of Lyndhurst just after the cattle grid on Beaulieu road (opposite the fire station) with car parks either side of the road. Theres a nice walk that we used to cycle from there to Denny wood when we were kids. Suprised I didn't recognise it on the video! I miss that part of the world mate, and loads of great places to RC as well! 👍 👍 👍

@@PeteWylieRC Yeah we have talked about this before, I totally understand, Traxxas is a shady company, they have good products, I don’t understand why they have to be like that, there’s always gonna be competition out there, just stay competitive instead of trying to shut everyone down, are they scared of Arrma? maybe…. Arrma has been killing it lately, matter of fact I just picked up an Outcast 8s exb rtr v2, I’ve got a nagging suspicion that it might be an Xmaxx killer lol, I’ve done the unboxing already, the battle is coming lol. Good hearing from you again, stop by when you get a chance🤙

Got to ask does it feel like rhe 6s Mojave or the lack of weight make it feel more nimble on its feet . The 6s is a total brute and wild one at that ! Great footage as well buddy . Hiya Chris. Ah well I'm not too flush with cash at the moment so I'm not really buying new cars although maybe later in the year. This 4s one does feel lighter and it's not as quick as the 6s. Awesome job on taking the Arrma Mojave 4s for test drive Pete! Since me along with us already knows how you feel about Traxxas XMAXX's but what are your feelings on other brands such as HPI,Team Associated,MJX,WLTOYS, etc???

Hiya. Oh I haven't got very strong opinions about the other brands. I think that they all have good products depending on what you want and how much you want to spend. The Traxxas trucks are good and it's only the company itself I don't really like. Yeah the 4s Arrma's are really decent trucks and good fun. Cheers for watching and your great feedback as ever.
