Hiya mate. Oh yes I might have to hire a small van to get all this stuff up to you. There's a couple of unbuilt kits and I'll pop them in too along with all the batteries, chargers and spare parts 😁👍 Oh yes I'm sure you know most of my RC choices but some were surprised that the one I would keep wasn't a lunchbox and wasn't even a Tamiya, shock horror 😮 Like I was saying in the video you need something super strong when running with the big heavy RC's and a Tamiya might not survive. Yes I've just had a Proper Job while watching your Hot Shot unboxing and have moved onto the brewery beer now. You were talking about doing one of these ask me anything vids. That was a joy to sit and watch, I really enjoy these! It's Saturday morning, so obviously I'm not sitting with a beer, I'm having a coffee. Thanks for answering my questions, I'd be excited to see a 4s Typhon, but maybe even more I would love to get my hands on some more of those Vocation IPA's, I'll start watch out for them on the webshops, get me some for the summer if we ever get summer... Oh yes get yourself some of these beers as they are excellent if you enjoy the citrus bitter style of IPA's. I don't think I could wait until the summer for them though 😬 The ones I showed are all in Tesco and Asda and probably the others too. Thanks for your great questions and kind feedback. Very enjoyable show Sir..... saved it for a Saturday night with a couple of 8.4% oak aged Henry westons, and a 7.4% Old Rosie dry scrumpy! 🍻 😜 Cheers for the very comprehensive answers matey, and for those IPA recommendations..... some of which I have tried, and the others I will be hunting down.... especially those 7 and 8% ones, delightful! Your taste in ales matches your exquisite tastes in RC cars! Some cool questions from the RC fam, with some great answers from your good self..... along with some mandatory Traxxas bashing, which I highly commend! Interestingly, your statement about getting loads of inspiration whilst doing your job that allows lots of thinking opportunities, but not having the time to execute those visions is so relatable! I clean windows 7 days a week, and to escape the boredom I to start dreaming up all kinds of weird and abstract video ideas while I work! Unfortunately, they rarely get passed the 'thought' stage, mainly due to lack of time! And the ones that do, haven't done incredibly well view wise!? 🤷‍♂️ The Monster truck football match we done took weeks of planning, 7 people having to be free at the same time and place, official drone clearance, a free football pitch, good weather, and hours of editing for just over 500 views!!! 🙄 At the same time our Monster truck garden photo shoot which literally only took a few hours with zero effort is close to 20k views.... go figure! 😂 Maybe the more abstract ideas are best kept as thoughts..... Just grab a lunchbox and bash it over a hump or two eh mate, this concept never fails! 😂 Anyway bud, keep up the great work as one of the veterans of the KZread RC scene..... without the likes of you, Mark and Rob etc, many of us smaller channels would not even exist! 🙏 😊 👍 👍 👍

Hey James how's it going? Ah yes good idea to make my vid more enjoyable by numbing your brain with alcohol 🤣 Those beers are all in Tesco and Asda and probably the others. All the Vocation ones are good apart from one called Roll With It which is a bit meh. There is Aoraki if you can find it but I think that was a limited run. Oh yes it's sometimes annoying to think of all these video ideas and to not find the time or energy to do them. I was meaning to say that you guys come up with some very original stuff like the football and fireworks. How annoying that the football one didn't do well as was great. Trouble is with KZread is that it doesn't always know what audience to show a video to and it ends up doing nothing. I've had similar things where I put a load of effort into a video and it's done nothing. Looking at the videos of mine in the current top ten it's all reviews and how to do things. I like the run videos to music but they rarely do big numbers. I think that certain popular models will always get quite a few clicks. Anyway thanks again for your questions and all your great support as ever. You guys keep up the good work too. Always entertaining to watch. Cheers for now 😁👍👍

@@PeteWylieRC All good this end thanks mate, well, other than the bloody weather! ☔ Can't work in it, can't take the cars out, can't fim videos.... it's just been relentless this winter! Ah, no brain numbing needed bud.... these kind of videos make a nice change, a nice bit of easy Saturday night viewing. 👌 I love a variety of videos mate, and all the guys have their own style to which keeps it fresh..... but I think it's your running videos with music that I really love, especially as they are filmed in what I consider to be my 'home from home' over there In the gorgeous new forest! Lunchboxes, Holmsley, Southbourne and Hengistbury head are all something that I can strongly relate to. As for that youtube Algorithm, yep, it works in mysterious ways indeed! Cheers for your kind words about the channel mate, much appreciated. 🙏 We are still learning the ropes at the mo, just basically going out and having a laugh foremost. We have lots of good ideas in the pipeline, but are fairly restricted by time, and a lack of decent equipment (filming on a couple of cheap mobile phones, one taped to a golf club, and just using phone editing apps currently)..... but hey, you have to start somewhere eh?! @@PeteWylieRC hi Pete, yeah it was a WPL C-54 Totoya Hilux, where I also bought all the metal upgrades for it too, but the manual wasn’t very clear, but more importantly, when I tried to reach out for help, I wasn’t taken very kindly by the UK WPL representative. Those Cornish ales like Tribute used to be my favourite before the American west coast IPAs hit the market with the Citra hops and all those other really bitter citrus ones. Oh yeah that guy had some odd opinions and was rather unpleasant really. Good to talk about that. Yes I'm a 90's raver at heart. I do listen to recent pop music and like the stuff by the big producers like David Guetta and Calvin Harris and the like. Yes I would still love that Losi LMT but I did buy that Arrma Mojave so that has slowed down my quest a bit 😬 Thanks for your input on this one mate. Best wishes 😁👍

Well where the brewing world lost out the RC world has been a better place for your videos, though I might be entering a Home Brew Competition in the office so I might hit you up for some tips. I like the tour videos, but so far we are far from the millions of views that some bloke with a GoPro on his backpack gets, must be a personal thing 🤣😆👍

Oh yes the home brew was quite a thing for a while but I only ever used the tins of wort rather than creating my own with grains. The results were not bad but like I was saying in the video, the local brewery does a much better job than me so I stopped doing it. Also my garage is now full of RC cars and associated bits so not much space for the pressure barrels. Yes your travel guides should be getting at least as many views as the bloke with a GoPro attached to himself. Maybe the strange people that don't like RC cars aren't clicking. Ah yeah well Mark wasn't saying that I couldn't re-buy the RC's that I'd sent to him so it makes sense to keep the most expensive one and I can get another Lunchbox. Also like I was saying you can run those Arrma 3s and 4s cars with the bigger cars without too much worry but a Lunchbox might not survive!

Hi Lee. I didn't know so I asked Craig and this is what he said - Hey Pete, the channel was originally the OAG which was for Old Age Gamer as I started a blog in the same name playing videos games as someone who has been gaming since the old ZX Spectrum. I started using it for my RC content and ditched the games.
