I just got a mojave 4s. Been wanting it for a while. I'm stoked to get it out. I haven't yet only because of I wanna reinforce the body n go through it. And the weather is starting to improve. Depending where in Canada you are I bet your weather is alot like mine here on Maine

I absolutely love my Mojave 4s. I’m going to put 1m in center and 30k front and rear. Start there and see how it goes

I think the out of the box speed is around 53-54mph

Curious why you don’t just go to 6S , would it over power the truck ?

It really woke up the truck. But also a lot smoother. Excited about our new 6 inches of snow to be gone. :/

Lifetime subscriber here. Love your videos and reviews. I'm stuck in between the new crate and with the aluminum hubs and all that and differentials VS the cagama. Can you get me if you had to choose between the 2? Which one would you go with?

Could you get an mx-07 and a redcat vigilante instead of the maxx slash? They seem much better built, are larger, and have hobbywing ESC combos in them that are much better quality than the traxxas 6s stuff. They are also the same price or cheaper here in Canada. From a Canadian fan keep up the awesome videos!

The maxx slash is a brick and needs to stay on the ground you will have to reinvent it and take the body off just to jump it IMHO don’t waste your money either Mojave will eat it up over any jump pay attention to how it lands in almost every video I have seen- exocage is an exceptional driver and it’s only hope for a good review 🤷🏼‍♂️

Definitely the bare minimum 4s power with those baby spectrums ESCs they give us , I’m going put a max 8 in mine

It’s mostly the esc brother . Look how tiny those 4s escs are , that motor better quality it will last longer , not sure if any other difference though and I’ve run 6s through both even the traxxas motors are good I’ve run that one the most with 6s

Have put a HW max 8 G2 in mine, butter smooth sensored power on 4s and insane on 6s, well worth it IMO.

What is the biggest pinion you can put into the 4s Mojave? Is an 18 as high as you can go?

Can I just disable the LVC. On my hobbywings ESCs ? I really don’t run till LVC AND SET my sells to 3.86

I do this too , I run a separate 3s battery for lights and fans , sometimes I run the fans directly to the power of the truck , even with 6s because I have many 40 mm fans from pc recycling ♻️

The cooler you can keep motor and esc the better the performance and minimize wear tear

I've had the rtr and exb. As much as those are great trucks. I like the length of the 4s.
