Eyyy it's me (6:59)! Pleasure meeting you and thanks for congratulating my wife on her crossfit win. It made her weekend 😅 as did it make mine to meet you. Congratulations on another win. #TeamMoose all the way!

Mitch, you’re a legend of a strongman but an even better man! You inspire us!
I love the yoke. The speed Mitch carries it at is incredible! 👏

What a great dude! 6 months ago, I didn't even know who Mitchell Hooper was, now he's gotta be my favorite athlete. Thanks Mr. Hooper for being a genuine and kind man, and also for mentioning your family. You're a good dude, keep up the good work!
I’m so happy that you and Loz have recordings from the event, because the live stream made it seem like the crowd was very quiet and uninspired, but now I see it was just the audio decisions made by the broadcasting crew.
Great job again this weekend. I competed in my first strongman competition this weekend myself and took 4th place out of 13 guys. I’m stoked to keep going and getting stronger even at the ripe age of 41. Thanks for being a good human!
What a lovely bloke, a credit to his parents, himself and strongman.

Love the kid at 7:54 totally confused why he should flex his biceps next to the WSM. In 10-20 years time he'll find that pic somewhere and love it.
If only all athletes had your personality. Mate you are a legend.
I think so too, that weight lifting workouts do open an outlet to release stress and than feel adrenaline boosting the body which lasts for hours. It also deals with tightness and flexibility issues.
Great first day, I notice you didn't do the Olympic style split leg for the log lift which seemed like a great idea when you did it in the last comp for the axle overhead, I'm sure you've tried both and use what works best for you, amazing lifts and great work, here's to another trophy!

In the last two events, Mitch has been first in almost every heat... It's crazy how he's winning events and not just the overall tournament. It's not like he has been getting a bunch of top 3 finishes and barely wining the events. Complete domination!
Shoutout to that granny doing the farmers walks, amazing
Great time now for Mitchell Hooper to win some competitions , Hafthor will be a real strong competition especially when he totally recovered his strength after his Pec Tear from just 8 months ago , not to forget that he also came back after being retired losing like 55/60kgs bodyweight for boxing, what a battle!
Glad to hear you have been blessed with some extra overtime. Where is the weak point in your bench? Looking forward to watching your peaking program for your goal.

Incredible how gifted you are! It must be a real kick in the teeth to some of the old guy that were at Worlds like 5 6, 8 times with no podium place.. it must be psychological, the confidence or something. Who knows.. or support systems vs lack of good support system?

Really tough to say. Hafthor Björnsson and Graham Hicks have both totaled 1100 kg, and I don't think it would be wise to put you too far behind those guys... Maybe a 420 kg squat, 260 kg bench and a 410 deadlift is doable? That would be a total of 1090 kg.

Pretty much every professional athlete across the board uses some kind of performance enhancer. They all use something different though to get the results they're looking for, the same drugs that might help you become a Mr. Olympia probably won't help you run the fastest 100meter dash, or be the strongest man in the world. Often times there is some crossover, generally some form of testosterone base is used in every stack but really what drugs you use are the ones you need. Genetics play a big role too, some people get by on less, some people need more. So I guess to answer your question, it's same same but different.
