No one has dominated the sport so early in their strongman career like the moose. The closest is mariusz pudzianowski but the dominator has never won the Arnold strongman classic despite being 5x wsm

I think Mitch also knows that some referees give the down signal easily. It's nothing but a benefit to the athletes, the sport and the refs themselves that they are strict and not lenient.

Strongman is such a great sport because of people like them!

Very strict judging from Big Z, but it seemed consistent for all athletes, which is what is the most important!

He doesn't give anything unless it's 100% controlled. Like he said, it's hard to ref this event, as we've seen before when things get questionable. No room for shenanigans this time. 😄

Big Z is always one of the strictest judges at every show, which is fine because he applies the same high standards to all the athletes.

Outstanding Performance! That frame carry was blazing fast!! I’ve seen you do it in your videos many times, but wow, in competition…it was next level!! You can see most guys struggled, but for you it was a light work! I absolutely love Big Z and when he didn’t give it to you, my heart sunk!! But it was the right call. That has a lot to do with how strong he is, when your biomechanics and technique are great you recruit more muscle

I think Thor is just happy to have more strong people near him. Dude's been at the top for so long, he was probably feeling lonely. Great job Hula Hoop!

It’s crazy the evolution that strongman has seen. From guys that were just huge everywhere, especially the gut, to a guy like moose, who honestly just looks like a big, strong healthy guy. I think it gives the sport a lot more promotability. Congrats Mitch.

This is why I love Strongman as its not purely 1rm strength but how much of that strength can you hold for time. Hooper looks healthy regardless of what it takes to compete at that level. Brian Shaw as well. Eddie is definetly one heck of a human competting with the big boys but all that extra weight gonna hurt.
