It's amazing to see how far this sport has gone in 20 years. You see these guys struggle with 700ish pounds hummer deadlift and this year Oleskii Novikov pull a WR for 1210 lbs.

God what an awesome competition. Phenomenal effort by Svend Karlsen with the hamstring injury but Big Z was just awesome here! Crazy how many guys improved in the first event from 2003 and 2004!

Ostatnio jest nagonka na Mariusza że przecież nie wygrał żadnego Arnolda. Tylko ludzie nie kumają że przy rekordach w ciężarach ogromnym plusem jest wzrost. I nie piszcie swoich teorii o dźwigni przy martwym bo niższa osoba jest w stanie podnieść więcej względem swojej masy ciała ale jak masz 185cm wzrostu i rywalizujesz z kimś kto ma 2 metry to tamta osoba z automatu może na sobie mieć 20kg więcej mięśni co da jej lepsze wyniki. Mariusz wygrywał tam gdzie miał szansę wygrać bo liczyły się czasy i wytrzymałość.

I was thinking the same thing usually Colin is pretty on point but he was just downplaying everyone, it was super negative the whole time

Marius clearly disappointed because of the last event, he usually does much better at this kind of events

He had nothing more to prove wwe paid him more than strongman could ever pay him plus the other guys were on steroids mark wasn't so he wouldn't want to compete with them. Brian gave big z the rivalry I'd say big z mark henry and Brian shaw are the best strongmen mark henry is still the only guy who's clean the apollon wheels the others had to bring it to their chest.

Yup, Big Z was a much stronger man overall. Mariusz had more endurance and cardio, which is what won him so many WSM

At the Arnold? I don't think anyone argues that. But Pudz is undoubtedly the greatest at strongman as he didn't just beat z but he would dominate Z like it was easy in WSM, and would beat Z in the super series.

@@luckygame5996 Agreed! There are just so many people on KZread especially who seem to think WSM is far and away the best strongman competition and the rest don't matter. The different major championships emphasize different skills, which makes this sport harder than most to compare athletes.
