    The Arnold Strongman Classic is held in Ohio and Ohio has a plethora of wind farms especially from Columbus all the way to Michigan. Wind energy is so popular up there you can see residential homes equipped with mini versions of those big ones in the background. As for the pillars I guess they're there for interpretation.

    Be realistic. That would not be fair to any of the competitors or the fans. Brad is on another level. It's why they don't have sprinters race cars in the Olympics. It would ruin it and of course the car would win. These are very strong men, but still human. Brad is something else. And Brad has a confirmed 1,900lb axle press under competition.

    My dad and I watch WSM every Christmas. We noticed him in the 2016 event and were impressed with his performance despite his young age. Typically it's guys in their late 20s to mid 30s that win these sorts of events because that's when a person's strength hits its peak. Assuming he stays injury-free like you said, I'd say he'll be a legit contender in 3-5 years. It's impressive he's competitive despite being only 24.

Imagine if he had a relative deadlift. I dont understand how his deadlift can be among the weakest of all the competitors yet he still takes 2nd place overall.

Brian Shaw: American Legend. Hafthor Bjornsson: Icelandic Legend. The strength that these men possess is extraordinary. Anyone who has been around and worked with truly STRONG men, will appreciate how powerful these men really are. That some athletes don't make great commentators, who would nit pick over that? Not anyone who is watching for the right reason, after all, it's not like anyone watching this video is paying to see it...... Mark Henry is a great American Strong Man.

    Very Very impressive lifting, but nothing like the immortal Norbert "Norb" Schemansky.. back in the day he did a true split clean up to the shoulder not touching his stomach ( which really is a modified continental not a clean ) and jerked from his shoulders 3 times without setting it down. He manhandled it so badly the french officials never let another lifter use the original "Louis Apollon Axle" ever again. Still ranks as one of the greatest lifts ever, also when you consider that he weighed about 60 pounds less than the " lightest " strongman in the Arnold Classic Strongman competition simply amazing. Rest in Peace Norb.. one of the greatest ever. I salute you

  • @tomassikora6879

    @tomassikora6879

    I don't think that thor was robbed. 15th rep was not clean and he knows that. But you got the point last year WSM was clearly made for Eddie Hall 3 out of 6 events were those which he is best in = deadlift, Squat, and pushpress (viking press). He is great static strongman but when it comes to movement he is very average and with that said tyre flip 6th, plane pull 3rd and atlas stones 4th ... but overall he did deserve it. But in my eyes Thor would have win last year WSM if he didn't had his disease ( half paralized face) he just could not breathe smoothly and that was his handicap and still ended up on 2nd. Brian also had some issues with his hamstring i guess but i think reason why he ended up on 3rd was that he is now also a father and that's something that is holding him little bit back i think.

  • 6 жыл бұрын

    You do realise the ref' for the Viking press at WSM was Magnus Ver Magnusson. Also to insinuate that the events were tailored to suit Eddie specifically is retarded on so many levels. If your the strongest it shouldn't matter what the events are, they had tyre flip and plane pull and the Viking press was for reps not max all of which are typically *not* Eddies best events one of which he won anyway with time to spare. By your thinking that would mean any comp with a loading race or throwing event is tailored for Thor? Don't be a tool and just accept that Edd has two world records and the 2017 WSM title fair and square.
