Majority are foreign tourists, coached in from cruise ships for a couple of hours. Signs in English will mean nothing to them. Tour guides are at fault, people should be informed on the coach!!

My thoughts exactly, there has to be something that can be done to stop the idiots. Guarantee if someone was seriously bitten they would sue. Yes some of the horses are friendly but you don’t know which ones. Perhaps Huge signs done in red paint would make the idiots take heed.

She is a mare ,her real name is Raden. Arnie is a nickname. The Queen belongs to the LifeGuards white plumes. Ormonde belongs to the Blues and Royals Red plumes. He is their fmous bitter.

It amazes me that parents put their baby or childs head closer to the horses mouths tham themselves. Risky!

Even the horses have had enough. Imagine disrespecting the armed forces in these people's countries. They wouldn't appreciate it!

I get so frustrated when they keep touching the horse!! 🤯 Then it gives them a warning nibble and the twerps continue to stand there 😐

So one lady gets bit and the very next person, who is holding a baby, stands close enough that the baby could get bit too. Just another reminderI that people are stupid.

Amazing how the tourists know he bites, and still go close; they think it is some kind of challenge....

Never understand why the people look at the guard when the horse is snapping at them when the guard does not do it.,,,yet people laugh

The third tourist approaches the horse like she is in command and the horse launched at her too. These people observe but learn nothing. The horses are sick of them so how about taking a picture and moving on.

There are a few notoriously aggressive horses in the Household Cavalry and this is one of them. They are cavalry horses bred from centuries of warhorse stock. I'm more surprised that so few of them have a reputation for aggressive behaviour considering their breeding and lineage.

Their breeding is Irish draught with some thoroughbred blood , draught horses are working horses with calm temperaments , no " war horses " among them .

You know it's amazing. Living in a country that was nicknamed a melting pot, we get mail that is translated in several different languages. How difficult would it be for our Mother England to create a sign with several different languages:: Don't touch the reins and the Horses bite and kick::

There needs to be a cordon around these horses and guards so no one can get within several feet of them. Not a sideshow, not a circus. He was obviously fed up of random folk standing next to him and made it well known!!

Well imagine that. The first victim walked right up to the sign that warns about horse biting, then freaks out because she was too close and got bitten. The offended look on their faces when they get bit!!! Like they had NO idea that these horses can and WILL bite. They deserve it! It’s not a petting zoo. These majestic animals are working!!

Imagine standing in front of a huge sign that says Horse will bite and then being upset when it happens 😂

It is kind of fun just sitting here watching their faces when they think the horse just might bite but none of them know how much it will hurt and that very handsome man sitting on top of him, will do nothing but maybe laugh inside.

The guard kept his horse from biting the woman holding the baby. You saw him pull the reins opposite side to keep horse from engaging.

It's a call button that connects directly to the Guards room not an emergency button , they have cameras for that ! The Trooper pressed it as the tether chain had become unlinked , the chain dates back to campaign days and was used to attach the horses to a line for safety , feeding and watering them when resting .

A horse bite is no joke. They can remove a finger. It's a war horse. Do you try to pet the police officer's dog when they are apprehending a criminal? How many of these people have any knowledge of horses, cows, bulls, geese, etc? Pure city? Never rode a horse, fed chickens, milked a cow. This reminds me of the tourist in Africa who thought she could pet a male lion. Eeesh.

There is a sign there if they don't want to read it their problem. Hope the horse's keep it up.😊

With the chain coming loose that is why tourists should not touch the horse. Also hate when the tourists laugh. I observed some tourists Arnie bites and other ones he doesn't.

And they continue to invade the horses space. Dumb!

My dog was a bit like Arnie and Ormonde, he hated people coming to pat him, or speak to him. He’d growl at them. He’d even boss the dogs in the neighbourhood. Animals behave that way for a reason. They want to be left alone. I’d snap too if people kept coming up to me like that.

Arnie just enjoys having his picture taken and shows his appreciation with a friendly little love bite, he doesn't discriminate: 12:58, soldiers included!

This horse is Rarden , the original horse nicknamed " Arnie " has never been successfully identified as he was all black as are many in both regiments , so no evidence he's been retired !
