ARM WRESTLING TRAINING 2019 #1

Спорт

ARMWRESTLING WORKOUT ( HOOK / BICEPS DAY )
We train mostly at the regular gym without table ( unfortunately )
but you may found it beneficial for you guys who has no table also..Usually I do pyramid scheme in all exercises 12-8-6-6-10(close to these numbers)...only last 2 sets really are max, the first 3 are warming ones...
Good Luck Guys!

Watching this takes me back over the years. I used to train heavily in my youth, with a special focus on arm wrestling strength training. And I also used to do stuff like have people line up in public to arm-wrestle me. I never had a fast hit, not enough fast-twitch fiber, but I was all about endurance and outlasting the opponent, pulling him back and holding him at the top and then going for the hook. Always the hook, and rarely the top roll. Ahh youth, it goes away too fast. Now about 50, I still stay fit an lift weights and play sports daily but no more arm-wrestling. I love your seriousness about training and most of all the intensity. You live and breathe this. It is in your heart and soul. Very few have this intensity, which is totally different from lifting heavy weights or training for long durations. You either have intensity, or you don't. It comes from a fire that burns inside us. All the best and lots of success to both of you. Be strong, stay safe and God bless you.

I've always been naturally good at arm wrestling and at age 18 I benched about 100kg.. But you can clearly see these okes have forearm strength on another level!! Those pull-ups is ridiculous!! All the best, from South Africa.

When I do pronation I max out on 31.5 kg, can do max 5-6 reps with it. When I do hook with the red fatgripz I have to add two additional weights which are included to each section (you know those grey weights with about 2kg each). So it's about 50 kg. I pull towards my opposite shoulder and sideways down. I can do 8-10 reps till the time I reach that weight. I start with 15 and go till 50. I'm about 77-78 kg at the moment. I plan to complete 30th of March in the - 75 kg kategory at Senec . What do you think, do I have a chance to reach top 3 maybe?? I'm not sure.

Alex! I watched pulling John a few months back and had no idea arm wrestling was so epic!! I’ve Ben been watching you and your brother on this channel for 2 months now... Ive been dying to compete and I entered the tournament @the fit expo! It Was awesome seeing you there... i was competing and lost in the finals right hand in 166-185 division! I was white the tall skinny dude with the black shirt! Had to leave early and you were doing your thing so didn’t get a chance to talk to you but that made it all the more epic that you were there... I heard you cleaned house on Saturday in the pros yes? 💯👊 Anyway... I’m addicted to this sport now. I used to be a pro tennis player but injuries led to stop 10 years ago. I still teach everyday though so I figured I wouldn’t be too far behind since my wrist/hand forearms are developed from tennis even though it’s nothing near an arm wrestlers lol... I found mendys gym 2 weeks ago and they showed me some techniques. I’ll train at Scott Mendelson’s gym in Van Nuys once a week and hope to enter another tournament in the near future!! Keep up the content In happy you guys are gaining more popularity 🤘😎💯👊
