Yes every monk of this order is great. Its just that Swami Sarvapriyananda is really a great orator. Afterall the whole order is the Ramkrishna as said by Swami Vivekananda.

Swami Sarvapriyananda Ji please do a podcast with Sandeep Maheswari about Spirituality and Vedanta.

Swamiji makes Vedanta so logically perceivable. When I listen to him, I feel he summaries all that are enshrined in the bounds of the texts like Upanishads, Bhrahmasutras, and Bhagavad Geeta. Pronam Maharaj

The interviewer is just taking the stand of a reductionist pov of evolutionary biology which most people believe today , for the sake of the conversation . But saying spirituality is obsolete is a bit harsh . Spirituality is to tread the path of wellness , how can it be ?

for some reason basic logic escapes her. in no system of logic is correlation equivalent to production. what need to mention that any asserted emergent property of consciousness is never observed in any structure asserted to be the basis of emergence.

For people complaining about the interviewer I think it’s clear that time was a big factor so she needed to push the convo along to get as many questions answered as possible

Yet she seems to be so knowledgeable that she is able to continue the debate in such an interesting way with this highly informed, intelligent swamiji. She is good, let's admit it.

She knows how to elicit information, yes. That surely means she can remember things. I would not immediately confuse that with her being a good interviewer.

What about Tamil texts? Many northern part of India may thinking that sanskrit is the oldest language in India. They have to be taught correctly. Fortunatly, Indian PM tell the truth that Tamil is much older than Sanskrit, and has profound ideas. What is Aasivagam ? The Tamil phrase "யாதும் ஊரே யவரும் கேளிர்" is a famous saying attributed to the ancient Tamil poet Kaniyan Poongundranar ( 3000 years back) It translates to "To us all towns are one, all men our kin" in English. This phrase emphasizes the idea of universal brotherhood, unity, and the concept that all people are connected and should be treated with respect and equality regardless of their background or where they come from. I am of the view this sort of questions are not desirable by one who wants to know Vedant.

He rocks it! My best understanding was losing sense of smell during Covid. Being aware you lost the sense of smell. Then after Covid, still being aware that you have no sense of smell. Brilliant

The interviewer should learn how to be reticent while questioning. Long winding statements are not apt for interviewing. It seems she is more concerned about flaunting her own knowledge

Everytime I see/hear hosts like her (she belongs to a left lobby) - I get more interested to see how someone like Swamiji manages the situation. Staying calm and speaking eloquently even under skeptic tone of the interviewer. This is Vedanta in practice in the real world. 🙏

Finally we have reached a level where we know that we don't know 'something' that's consciousness. Swamiji is eloquently brilliant, and one needs to shed the objectivity bias to understand these great philosophers. Perhaps a good point to start would be to understand the difference between objectivity and subjectivity. Maybe we will realise the subjectivity is Brahamam. But then that would be nirvana

Swamiji is one of the most interesting speakers I have heard. Ever since I first heard him about a year ago I have been following his talks. Vedanta is an extremely complex subject and I am really grateful to Swamiji for his explanations. I also find the question and answer sections so rewarding.
