For me this changed my perspective on our purpose in life and how to go about it in a sound way. Please read Quran daily as well. What about disability? I have epilepsy, due to my disability I have no job experience and dropped out of university in my second semester. I also don't have confidence and feel very unsure of what I want or need. Allah knows what's best for me, but I don't, I don't know if I'll ever have a wife or if I'll be worthy of one, I feel that I'd be a limitation, but I wish I could have a halal option.

There is nothing in Islam that states you shouldn’t get married because of this. Don’t let shaytaan get inside of your head. This is no reason to not get married - I think your lack of confidence will be a bigger problem than the epilepsy! Work on confidence before marriage. Explain the epilepsy to your potential wife before and insha’Allah it will be okay. Make a lot of dua and turn to Allah.

@@deea7843 First I was hoping I'll he able to find a wife, it feels THAT was shaitan in my head, the overconfidence and denial, if I had recognized how epilepsy was affecting me during university, maybe I could have found a path instead of spending 7 years out of school that lead of suicidal thoughts and feelings of uselrssness. I feel it's Allah's guidance that I'm now realuzing that I need to fix the sources of the problem that I can deal with. It's not that I shouldn't find a wife inshallah, I may be able to eventually, but I think I may not be able to be worthy right now while I'm on Canada's Disability support and need supervision to do everything. I hoped I would be able to find a wife, now I'm thinking I need to apply the hadith of needing to tie my camel, I need to return to school and get a job, Maybe once I can support a family, I can find a wife. Islam doesn't reject marrying disability, but the potential spouses would need to be introduced, I am rarely allowed to leave the house by my parents because I could have a seizure. There are requirements for spouses, I don't fit with most, I live off my parents, have no Job experience or Job, dropped out of a University program in science during my second semester. I try to find confidence, but don't find much to be confident about, maybe being kind, an uncle or a muslim. The one time I got a rishta was a mother in pakistan (this was me attempting to find a wife through a muslim marriage site) calling me in canada 6 years ago while I was sleeping who rejected when she realized that I was 19, I haven't got any more since then, I keep wanting my parents to try to get me married to the girls at our mosque (we used to go a lot more before the seizures) but I think they avoid it because they consider it hopeless as I do not fit the needs of a husband (it's not just the epillepsy, it's all the affects and limitations it has put) I am incapable, and my family won't bother trying to find me a wife.

I hear you. You did the best you could with what you knew at the time - it's easy with newfound wisdom to look back and say 'if only' but you did your best with what you knew at the time. May Allah make it easy for you in preparing for marriage - supporting your family is important but you don't need to be super established either. Families can see things differently, they will respond and react in their own ways, so try not to internalise it. I am sure there is more to you than being kind, an uncle and a Muslim. It may be beneficial to work on confidence, maybe therapy, watching KZread videos, reading books, etc - not just for the purpose of marriage, but for you and your own life. Don't give up on yourself first. Then Allah will give you a wife if it is written, no doubt, insha'Allah. At the perfect time. @@MHShah17

@@deea7843 Inshallah, last year a found out about Epilepsy Toronto, the group's been good, ET's Epilepst Employment's host suggested a college program that although not doing much career-wise was good for my confidence and not feeling like a drop-out (Transition to post-secondary education at George brown College), however the person we had accompanying me there was no longer able, inshallah now the employment group's host can help me find a career-wise program at the college just around the corner from my house. I feel this will fit with the idea of tying my camel, by returning to school Inshallah, I may be able to move on, I think that back in 2015, I was in denial of my seizures and I was trying to do my science program at full intensity and was rejecting the accomodations I needed. But I also find it interesting that that first year I didn't manage to finish was the same year my nephew was born, since then my main job as been the uncle, and the year I returned to school was the same year my niece started kindergarten. Inshallah I can find a good program and do it at the right intensity for my disability (I'm currently guessing that's 2 courses a semester, even if the usual course load for the program is 6)

May Allah SWT make it easy for you. It's all about mindset and confidence. Before seeking marriage, please seek ways to work on your internal state (especially around your self-worth). You can also meet up with support groups for people with epilepsy and find inspiration from people with similar conditions who continue to strive and are where you want to be one day in shaa Allah.

I heard miss conception over and over . I don’t like when specialist brush under the rug how so many Arabs are so narcissistic and cunning to get any young woman to abuse . they are race with the mentality that they can treat their wife like garbage and if she doesn’t comply just find another one and marry secretly. Teach young woman to marry someone they know, a classmate they grow seen at school etc. a lot Muslim woman are online catching fish a.I. money dating man over the phone like that is halal dating . There is so much to talk about then examples from the passed . Back in the days people fear allah not anymore! Now Muslim man young or old follow woman, make friends with them, watch porn etc. 18 years dealing with someone like that, instead of change he was dating and pushing me to move to his country so he can bring his girlfriend to America . It’s funny the love ended because I didn’t go !! Jajaja she was not going to marry for going back to his country, she wanted papers, better life, little did she know, she was dealing with a malignant narc.
