@@JGH1708 the calculus of making that decision will be different for each person. While I think it’s a safe bet that any use beyond true replacement doses will have some negative health effects, if other health risks are minimized I think well-informed and conservative use may more or less be equivalent to the health consequences of the average person having a bad diet or another person being extremely sedentary. If that is the case- and In terms of supraphysiological doses of bio identical hormones (to a degree of course, 5 grams of test/week is going to be unhealthy any way you cut it) but even up to a gram/week I wager that almost certainly the health risks are minimal or at least comparable to other fairly unhealthy life choices that won’t necessarily take off actual years of life-I think one can see pretty easily why people would go the route of using AAS. Many people who love sky diving, bungee jumping, free climbing etc have no aspirations or hopes of being professional and these activities are of course detrimental to health and safety. I think it’s a similar concept.

@@Xpert2077sir, if ur test is that low I don't understand why a doctor wouldn't prescribe you testosterone asap. I'd get another doctor. Or, even easier buy some testosterone from a local source (I'm sure you know many) or you could even buy online altho most online places have a minimum order of $150 or $200 and u won't need to spend anywhere near that. If u want legit HRT and nothing more I'd get Ur bloodwork done one more time, this time also testing Ur free testosterone, total testosterone, LH, FSH, estradiol, thyroid level, GH serum test, and GH stimulating test. On top of Ur liver values (ast and alt are standard but make sure it has Ur GGT added bc the previous two are useless), hemoglobin a1c (blood sugar over a long period), then regular blood and lipid panel just for regular health. Which will iclude hdl, LDL, triglycerides, rbc, hemoglobin, hematrocrit, wbc, platelet count etc. This will give us a broader spectrum look at Ur health and what Ur markers are... To Know any gaps that need to be filled. If Ur test is still low then Ur Gunna want to go on trt which ud want to acquire 2 or 3 10ml bottles of testosterone enanthate or cypionate. They're essentially the same thing with slightly different half lives 4.5 days for Enanthate vs 8 days for cypionate. U could interchange them and likely not notice a difference. And they should be the same price. Usually they come in 200 or 250mg/ml so if your "doctor" had u start at 100mg per week as most would if Ur levels were low. I would have u inject 0.1mL every mon/wed/fri/Sun if it's 250mg/ml using a 1/2" aka 12mm 28 or 29 or 30ga insulin syringe that is 3/10mL volume syringe. If u stayed at this dosage, those 3 bottles (total investment of $250usd at the absolute highest reasonable price imaginable) would keep u going for 75 weeks. And those 300 insulin syringes (assuming u use a new one every time) cost as little as $76 shipped on a quick google search. So we will say $100 shipped. So in total Ur looking at $4.70 per week. Assuming u didn't also have low thyroid or growth hormone also. Particularly growth hormone. If u, "require" hgh for Ur HRT.and have an insurancw provider who will cover it or cover most of it. You've basically won the lottery if u care about body composition and gains. Also, now would be a good time to mention the 100mg/ml TRT Replacement dose has been shown in multiple studies to have the exact same health profile as if you took up to 350 or 400mg/week for most people. And just incase there's any question in Ur mind... I'll point out that 400mg/ml of testosterone and a legit HRT dose of growth hormone, from a US pharmacy is enough to make crazy gains and have u looking better than 99% of humans on earth. While likely never having to come off or adjust dosages. So that's what id do. Theoretically of course 😛

Because this knowledge allows us to make safe decisions. It’s not enough to say steroids are bad, you need to explain why. And, as we can see, those committed to turning pro often place their life at extreme risk. Knowing that, we can make an informed decision as to whether we should pursue it.

Honestly, I think all knowledge is good knowledge in some context, right? I wouldn't generally comment on your stuff because I just like watching and clicking the like. But seeing your reactions and the way you talk about this topic has made me feel the need to say that I like the content you guys put out and I think even stuff like this, as a natural body builder in little New Zealand helps a lot. We have a lot of issues in a few federations over here, but I've been sticking with a federation that's purely natty. I'll stay that way quite likely, also. But it'll be nice to know this sort of stuff so I know generally who to "look out for" on stage and staying as true to myself as possible :) Much love guys

The science has supported there is a concrete dose/response relationship with steroids for a while. Yes, it does plateau out where the more you take isn’t as beneficial as it once was but more IS better. People lie about this to protect idiots with shit genetics/newbies, from jumping on 5 grams of gear in an impossible effort to turn pro. However, the truth is, more gear = more gains. The issue is more gear also = higher likelihood of running into significant health problems if not immediately, certainly down the line. It’s a risk all pro bodybuilders have decided to take.

I feel like I’m reaching my natural genetic potential and I’m aging, to get gains everything has to be perfect (sleep, eating, consistency and programming), what can I do to get past this if anything and if I were to jump on gear with seemingly pretty good genetics, how much weight could that potentially add to my body? Also, is it true 1 inch of height is about 10lbs of weight?

Doctors on the other hand have a strict ethical code to follow or they won't be doctors for very much longer. It's like kids who use the same argument to blackmail their parents for booze. If the parents give in, the kid will most likely drink the sketchy stuff anyway because their reasoning is already impaired.

Hey guys, I'd be really interested in learning where steroids come from. I'm natural and will stay that way, but I also live in Mexico, and this country is being torn apart by drug trafficking. Are steroids part of that cartel business model? They're legal here. You can get them at the corner store. Are they being smuggled North? Or are steroids always at least somewhat ethically sourced? I'm trying to understand the moral implications of this stuff.

  • @8EnigmaVirus8

Yes and no. Steroids in the US come from a variety of sources - legal purchases in other countries shipped to the US, illegal underground labs in the US, legal pharmaceutical TRT or HRT for transgenders resold illegally, and legal purchases in other countries carried back to the US by the purchaser. Testosterone and other steroids are generally not illegally smuggled by latin/south american cartels into the US simply because its not very profitable compared to drug smuggling, a kilo of cocaine has a street value of ~30k USD while a kilo of testosterone raws would run closer to 1k USD. If you got caught smuggling a kilo of either you would get hit with the same trafficking charge so its just not a good risk:reward ratio.

It’s peculiar to use “3 grams year around” as the threshold for “tons of drugs”. It sort of illustrates the point they are on tons of drugs because 10-15 years ago you’d probably halve or third that benchmark. Don’t get me wrong, there is absolute validity to the core points being made and dispelling the “if I took what you took…” mantra. All that said this isn’t a complaint because it was a pretty honest discussion that the answer is generally a resounding “yes”.
