I feel like a lot of people are gonna dismiss this movie just on face value, even if they haven't seen it. How on earth can Rotten tomatoes give it a worse rating than Dr. Strange 2. This is a much better and entertaining movie. A few plot weaknesse, sure. But this I felt was more solid pacing wise than the 1st Movie. This movie will remind you of the OG Hellboy movies.

Decent breakdown but the last two I've watched/streamed have been less about the actual movies. Not a criticism as i like all the information included, i think it could be spread across 2 video/streams with 1 just a literal breakdown and a 2nd one about the actors, extra information etc. I'm greedy but more H.S is always good. ✌️

Make no mistake about it. The biggest villains of the DCEU were the executives at Warner Bros.

it does feel like the critics have a personal hatred for Snyder. Some do. Idky. Like ppl enjoy what they like. Critics are other ppl’s pretentious opinions, don’t let them influence you. And I like Marvel & DC, feels like MCU stans intentionally review 💣 the DCEU so the MCU wouldn’t have competition. Rotten Tomatoes literally paid critics & their site is all over the place with their ranking system.

I personally felt the cgi looked much better than i expected especially considering what we saw in the trailer. Its definitely one of the best looking movies in the dceu.

I agree that the movie looked good and the action sequences were fun. It’s the trying to be funny that killed that movie in my opinion. There’re jokes that just didn’t fit with the whole movie and I left the cinema feeling that they took a serious movie and story and tried to make it funny. (Something that derailed the DCEU at large) I wish they hadn’t borrowed so much from Marvel e.g the Blank Panther storyline of revealing Wakanda to the world. The Loki joke? And the ‘I’m Aquaman’ - Ironman reference. Like why?

After watching this movie I'm just glad I'll always have the first Aquaman movie to reflect on & love. The Lost Kingdom did have its good parts especially with Orm & the last fight with Manta.

It’s time DC & Gunn make a serious move to get DC away from WBD’s general incompetence. The WB executives have interfered and ruined movies far longer than many people realize. But, like Vince McMahon until recently and Jerry Jones, you’re stuck when the incompetence starts at the top and no one watches the watchmen.

I quite liked it. I've been surprised how poorly it seems to have been received. I was impressed at the way they mirrored the personal plots for Orm and Arthur with the larger issues facing Atlantis. Also, their fight choreography did a good job of communicating character, which I thought was striking.

I just got home from watching Aquaman and I must say that I truly enjoyed the movie. It was a fun watch. The MCU references were hilarious.

Thanks for saving me a a trip to the movie theater. I wasn’t gonna go to begin with, but still

Loool came into this movie with a lot of doom and gloom however it was better than I expected. There were definitely plot holes and the William dafoe absence is bugging me. Also Black Manta could have been more menacing. But overall, I agree with everything Paul said here.

So the volcano erupting in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom might have been the same catastrophe at the beginning of the Flash film, which preoccupied Superman who was helping with the clean up.

Original Idea was for the Flashpoint movie to reset the DCEU into the DCU and Keaton to be the Batman of the new DCU. James Gunn did say once the Flashpoint movie is essential to getting the DCU moving forward. Plus, Gunn came in along with Peter Safron to help restructure the DCU going forward. Safron will be handling the financial part of the studio while Gunn handles the story part that includes the movies, shows and video games. They were given a short time frame to create something the overheads will approve and only a handful of films were created for the main DCU along with creating the elseworlds for the films, shows and games. So, introducing the multiverse early in the new DCU does open the possibilities to many ideas while not being tied down to one straight narrative. And Both Gunn and Safron also appears to be taking things cautiously moving forward. Just look at what Gunn did with the Guardians of the Galaxy; he turned a less popular Marvel comic book franchise and popularized them more. So, Gunn does understand comics and the fans.

WB in financial trouble means DC will be dividing itself and snyderverse will go to Netflix

It sounds like a fun movie and I'll probably see it in the theater some time, but know this will lead to nothing further in the DCEU I went ahead and listened to your entire video. Pretty sad that the final scene of the DCEU is a kind of a metaphor for the franchise as a whole.

I enjoyed the movie with my wife. We loved first one and this one i enjoyed nothing out of the world. But much better than recent superhero movies

So my ending for the DCEU was that after Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom we would’ve gotten a live action Justice League Apokolips War movie, and at the end, Barry runs to restart the universe, and doesn’t have enough speed, so the rest of the League comes with him and gives him a boost. While doing that the ripples of time from Barry running through to restart the universe pushes through them all and you see them become the previous actors who have played them, the League doesn’t notice it but us as the audience does. The movie ends with them recreating a big bang it becomes a white light, and you hear Superman say “I love you Lois” and then it pans out to space and the Earth 🌏 explodes, and then the rest of the universe. The credits roll, and post credit scene is suddenly the movie pauses, pans out to 3 figures watching this happen on a small 24 inch tv 📺 and it’s Constantine, Phantom Stranger, The Question, and The Spectre all there. Constantine says “What the Fuck was that?” Phantom Stranger responds “ That your universe is over it has been restarted” Constantine “Just like that, neither of you could’ve intervened, How about the monitor??” Phantom Stranger “John it’s over, the only thing we can do now is prepare for the new universe” Constantine “New Universe?” The Spectre says “A new universe with a new group of heroes and they will need you both” Constantine looks confused and Phantom Stranger snaps his fingers and the screen goes black

Tbf this DCEU was genuinely appalling.. I’d agree if the movies were at any point decent but they weren’t. They were atrocious.

I’ll probably most likely see this movie just as a goodbye for giving me characters and stories that I loved seeing for the past decade. Kinda disappointed tho that I’ve heard basically nothing but bad reviews about this film. The first is one of my top favorite CBMs and movie in general. Wish we’d have more of a break between this and SL but the studio is in obvious desperate need of money so it makes sense

Saw 9 minutes of this before I understood it was not a rumor but you actually saw the movie, and that it has been released. Wow, talk about me not being into this at all hahaha. I love hero movies, but this one is like Secret Invasion and Marvels, not interesting at all.

Too many WTF moments, confusing and mirrors other movies. Poorly put together but the fact that the Queen of Brat was even in a few scenes was the death knoll

Fans of Aqua man will go see this movie, it will do well on cable and with the overseas fans.
