Aprilia RSV4 Factory 2021 Super Detailed Review into every single aspect from a Rider's perspective

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I am a RSV4 RF owner for 4 years and I have plenty of road and track experience with the Aprilia RSV4 RF and I have really broken down the new bike's features into detailed sections in this video complete with info graphics, facts and views.

    I would like to give you a HUGE THANK YOU! I have been researching every aspect of the 21 rsv4 factory and bought one yesterday! Your videos helped me solidify my choice, they were highly informative, unbiased, detailed and easy to understand. At that price range I didn’t want to rush into the purchase and be unsatisfied with the bike. Keep up the videos you may not think they make a difference or people are not watching they are. I know from the front the pictures don't do justice but these wings actually are very well blended into the fairing and don't seem so outrageously visible. Wow, your Tuono sounds well nice , I am working on the new Tuono V4 video but to be honest if you go for the new RSV4, the comfort levels have improved so much more with more ground clearance, pegs position , wider screen and seat , more leverage on the clip ons. You will really feel at home on the new RSV4. I wish you all the best , if you buy one please share the photos on my Aprilia dedicated page, see description for the link. @@quick6629 a lot of people started doing Trackdays very late in life , I do many trackday videos on the Aprilia , feel free to check them out , but yes Tuono and RSV4 both are fantastic Trackday machines , the inherent torque of the Tuono really pulls it out of corners , it’s no slouch on track . I should have made sure there was a case around the camera so sound would coming through. Will definitely put more onboard footage next time , good shout that. . Really enjoyed the video as I'm currently in the process of buying 1. One thing I noticed that was not mentioned was security. Is there an Aprilia Thatcham approved alarm/immobiliser fitted as standard? Aprilia accessories for the RSV4 Factory E5 list Electronic Antitheft for £109. Is this in addition to the std fit alarm/immobiliser, or is this the only OEM security that you can buy from Aprilia?

Becouse i tried it several times, but it doesnt turns on😅 And yesterday , i felt something weird , on 100% throttle the engine makes something like cuting off the power , miliseconds ,and now i am feeling nervous about it ,becouse its new motorcycle😐

May be ask your dealer, they can actually switch launch controls on and off from ECU these days to save the clutch , may be after your first service it wasn’t turned on or may be your map needs updating . But I can’t understand why it would cut power on full throttle 3000km is enough for it to go through the teething problems . It’s a stunning bike Congratulations on it though. Let me know what the dealer says about launch control & that issue, I am curious now

    Hello Abhi, this is one of the most in depth review out there and this deserved praise! Great video you did there. There is only a few topics, that are still floating around that prevent me from buying. There is German magazine that stated, that the whole bike starts getting unsettled by giving it throttle while hitting small bumps in corners on the racetrack. They assumed that the reason for this is the new swing arm, which you also described as being stiffer. Can you confirm this behavior? Also, there are reports that the anti wheelie is still rather unrefined, as it brings down the front wheel pretty harshly. Is that still the case?

  • @ChasingTenths

    @ChasingTenths

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thank you very much for the kind words. I know exactly what they mean by the small bumps , I felt them too but that can easily be dialled out by sorting the settings on the rear suspension. The electronic suspension is very good , it goes from extreme hard to extreme soft and if someone doesn’t play around with it then it won’t do what you want it to do. It has the ability to either glide over the bumps or absorb them , absorption is better sometimes harder setting isn’t the answer , a slight give in the suspension can be better. In terms of the wheel , you can lower it down to absolutely minimum , but then at the same time you need to slightly stiffen the electronic damper and the bike will go up and come down with not much drama. I found no such issues , anyone who tests this bike needs to constantly adjust the setting to try different things , the bike truly changes

So as journalists I have high regards for them , I am sure their feedback is actually better than mine. But what I would say is that these little things they mention are nip picking , every time you ride a bike you have to mention something bad and they probably didn’t like bumps on that particular settings and the wheelie setings .to be honest, nothing on that bike can be NOT dialled out , everything can be set up to change different things

    The new RSV4 is pretty decent on the road as the ergonomics have changed drastically , I did a 2 hour ride and I had no cramps or issues but then I am 5 feet 8 but someone over 6 feet might find it slightly cramped on long journeys, the previous RSV4 models were a lot cramped than this one, the new lower slung swingarm and tank has allowed them to create more room for the rider . So it’s much much better now . And yes in my opinion too BMW is best road machine . But you don’t get that amazing v4 symphony;)

    The US Indicators not being in the headlamps is due to a entirely arbitrary law made by people whom know nothing about motorcycles (most actually actively hate motorcycles). The Law needlessly requires that the Indicators be no less than a entirely fabricated distance from each other to be road legal. Some states police will issue fines for violations of this, others will outright lock you up for it. Similar nonsense with LED or HID Headlamps going on, we are trying to fight against it, but as is normal with US Laws, it is a needlessly complicated and largely corrupted mess.
