I wash my dog in the summer time in an oatmeal flea and tick shampoo once a week. Then a water and applecyder vinegar wash at least 2 to 3 times a week. Sometimes I rub the water cider vinegar solution on him an let air dry. Great vid by the way, just watched to make sure I was doin right! Thanks

You could add a 50:50 solution (ACV/water) to a spritz bottle and spray her all over. Part the hair going backwards from rump to neck so it exposes the skin as you go and spray librally.

@dan Scott can I use this as a natural flea tick and mosquito repellent? We do a lot of camping and need a natural solution. I don’t want to give him the harmful meds from the vet. Yeast is pernicious. You MUST add fresh food to the diet, give 10% or less carbs in the diet (cause yeast) and lower the additives (cause immune weakness so it can't deal with yeast). Give zero vaxx and apoquel is bad medicine. So take out 50% of kibble and replace with raw eggs, canned sardines in water, part cooked and blended veggies and some meats. Add soil based probiotics only: amzn.to/3yoURqU For the feet, use oregano oil mixed with a carrier oil like grapeseed, olive, rice bran or coconut oil at 1 part oregano oil to 5 parts carrier oil. Mix well and apply to feet. Great temp solution for relief, while a more freash food diet kicks in over a few months and outs the yeast causing the issue. All the above are important! Put 1tsp ACV per meal to help kill yeast and alkalize the body.

I tried the coconut oil for my puppy, shame she is still biting and scratching alot, I truly hope this will help her I can't bare to she her in so much pain anymore. It helps with the itching but won't stop the underlying allergies from coming back. To stop his allergies it's diet that needs attention. Kibble is too rich on it's own, hence the allergies. I want to include raw egg with the shell(bleded) but I'm worried hearing about groceries spraying ttheir eggs with chemicals, would washing them in hot water be good enough? No, not this remedyif the skin is broken. I'd get some oregano oil: amzn.to/3ulnF1T add one drop to 1 tsp olive or coconut oil, mix and apply. This will keep things clean and bring some relief. This is a tempory measure and I'd look at a more fresh food based diet to help fix the underlying issues causing it.

I had heard about this method for itching. but he did not trust him, he was doubtful to tell the truth; But if you recommend it, it is because it is effective. Always following your advice .. GREETINGS, Dan!

My dog was neutered 2 weeks ago and he’s healing nicely but on the forearm where it was shaved and the IV was put in, he has been licking so much to the point of no hair growing only in that small section he licks and it is red. The lavender diluted in water is great for fast healing but not if it's continually being licked. I'd get some silver on hand, this one is a ready spray and a good antibiotic for any infection, just spray the area twice daily until it's healed...somehow! Silver spray: amzn.to/3gJ16i3 While your on there, look for leg wrap for dogs to bandage the area or a leg brace/neoprene leg sock for dogs to block the area until healed. Just some suggestions.

Hello, I have a pit mix with bad environmental allergies also he has a chicken allergy. Right now he had an reaction that’s environmental & was on cytopoint which barely helped. It will be a bit stingy in the raw cracks, test it. He's suffering yeast or food allergy in the commercial pet food. That's a good start but it's the diet causing the skin issues.. seen this a 100 times! The ACV is a temporary fix. You'll want to think about adding some fresh food to the diet to feed the skin higher quality nutrients and lessen the yeast issues. Coconut can help, although he might lick it all off if used topically but added to food it does help break down yeast cells. More fresh food in the diet and less kibble is the way forward to really reduce yeast buildup and the itch. Probiotics will help, yes. These probiotics are excellent: amzn.to/3xqa2i0 What are you protecting the dog with from fleas? I recommend Neem Oil: amzn.to/35YQoy2 I kills fleas on contact and is 100% natural. Just dab on the areas like under neck, back of neck betwwen shoulder blades, between hips amd uner the armpitts, groin areas. Once or twice weekly to stop fleas. For the allergies you'll need to make your dogs immune system stronger with some fresh food in the diet. Think veg, eggs, canned sardines in the food to make your dog stronger and therefore more robust to flea allergy. Just depends on how far you want to help your dogs condition naturally without drugs/vet chemicals.

Yes, helps. Cut out the carbs/sugars/drugs/vaccines /stress. Re the itching: Here's the following advice Green lipped muscle oil is great for itch relief. Start small but get it up to double recommended dose by 7 days and continue for 30 days. 1tsp daily is normal, 2tsp is double: amzn.to/3jAciys Add soil based probiotics to diet (not the normal milk based ones).Give twice daily for 30 days AM and PM: amzn.to/3yoURqU Also give MCT oil for 30 days (again start very small and build up to normal dose size. So just a 1/4tsp first few days, then half. If any loose stool, back off to smaller dose: amzn.to/3ETxM2W Also, a good wash and scrub once weekly for 30 days helps to move skin allergy triggers. Diet! Keep carbs low, under 10% and feed fresh foods. In time the itching stops. Man . I just noticed my two year old baby has a red spot without hair under the armpit and I couldn’t see it. I keep showering him and it seems not to work. I just rubbed some apple cider and he went to sleep right away. He seems to annoyed a lot and cries and is probably bc of it. He keeps licking the same spot and like I said is bald now……. The vet is going to charge me millions and end up giving me antibiotics or a cream …. Going to treat him this way every 6 hours for a few days see if it gets better.

Yes try that and if it does not work try a natural antibiotic on the area affected for 7 days. Get oregano oil: amzn.to/3ulnF1T mix 4 drops of oregano oil with 12 drops of carrier oil like olive, almond, grape seed or coconut oil, mix well and apply daily to spot for 7 days then stop.

I have a Blue Male Cane Corso who will be 3 June! So for almost 3 years, I have been trying to find food and supplements that be not only likes, but that are also good for him to eat! I have spent $100 on 24lb bags of food, I have bought supplements (that I don’t blame him for not eating! They smelled awful!’n), I have put eggs in kibble, broth, and water to make a gravy! I know he’s hungry, but he will walk over to it, move it around and walk away. He bites his paws, scratches ears, has acne under his chin, has terrible gas, frequently expresses his anal glands! I was told Corso’s are naturally allergic to chicken, wheat, and soy…so I changed his diet… His gas is the only thing that has improved! But, the sores on his paws have become worse… Because he’s so big (170#’s), I have never left the vets office where it has been less than $300!!! So I’d like to try to treat his sores at home first! Any suggestions? Can I use hydrogen peroxide? Oh and he can stand water…LOL

Ues 50:50 apple cider vinegar and water to clean and pur Lavender oil mixed, 5-6 drops in cereal sized bowl of warm water, damp a cloth and pat the area for faster healing. Lovely dogs BTW, kinda magnificent looking and blue is gorgeous! I can teach you how to bring the dog into good health, stop all the haelth issues and have him eat his food? This may be the kind of help your wanting. I can see that most of this is diet related and needs an overhaul.

I have been trying to find your reply!!! Thank you do very much!!! Any suggestions on kibble? We have tried between 25-30…he’s on a LID…he doesn’t like beef, apparently have chicken…so right now it’s Duck & Salmon…. Meal time is an awful time of day…most dogs run to their food dish, Monroe runs away! I know hes in pain (I’m guessing his ears & feet) b/c he snapped at my daughter. He adores her!!! He loves her more than me! But for whatever reason when he’s sore or hurt, I’m the only one, he will allow to help him… I feel awful!!! He came to us with terrible skin issues and I was able to clear them up very!!! Now, I feel like I’m failing him! They say Corso’s, as a breed wont display overt signs of pain unless it’s really bad! So I’m doing research and trying to find what’s best for him! I’m not against RX food, but we don’t even know for sure what he’s allergic too abs they haven’t told me the advantages of RX food vs non? He also eats about 5-6 cups of food a day. So I want to know the advantages before I spend another $100+ on a bag of dog food!

It's a good in the meantime remedy but for the underlying cause it's diet related and the dog needs fresh food in the mix not just dry food. So start with raw eggs, some meat proteins, canned sardines in water and some part cooked and blended veggies. Blend this food with the regular food 25% for a few days, then 50, few days, then 75% and so on. Give zero vaxx, vet drugs and 10% or less carbs (cause itchy skin from inflammation). Typical dry food is 35%+ carbs. Give this soil based probiotic at every meal: amzn.to/3yoURqU good for itchy dogs. Also give Colostrum (for allergies, sensitivity, intolerance & off Apoquel): amzn.to/3H79rad All the above for long term relief. Takes time, 3 months minimum.

@@DanScott1 absolutely appreciate u taking the time to respond. However she is on a fresh food diet as it is and has been for last 18months or so. All the foods you've listed shes fed on a regular rotation. Hence me and her stressing over what normally is a simple matter. I've applied the spray solution once today and does seem to have settled a bit, time will tell. Back to my question tho. Can I over apply the solution, could the vinegar spray in anyway be harmful if overdone?
