I had my gallbladder surgery 9 years ago. It's a small surgery and i am completely ok. Only thing doctor said you will be having gastric problems for life long. So i face gastric problem sometimes. Bt i recommend to go for surgery, inspite of wasting time in taking medicines to dissolve the stones.

every organ in our body has specific roles. So please do not say it does not have any importance. however in some serious cases we might get it removed so it won't lead to life threatening situation. My sister gall bladder was removed 4 years ago and she is facing serious digestion issues since then. the importance of gall bladder can only by understood by those who don't have.

My wife was a patient of Gall stone (about 9 mm) 15 years ago. ., What you have suggested, exactly the same advice was given by Dr.Pradeep Choubey, formarly head of minimum invasive surgery of Sir Gangaram Hospital ,New Delhi. She underwent the laparoscopic procedure there and is now OK .

Yes, you may consult a Urologist for kidney stones and a laparoscopic surgeon for removal of gall bladder. Perhaps both the Operations cannot go together. The above specialist' advice would be more appropriate.

Why things like gall bladder transplant or just taking out stones using lapro is not encouraged. I know stones may come again but it would still give patients with some time to live with gall bladder.

I suggest you consult a chiropractor to see if they can help without surgery. Allopathic doctors prefer surgery if symptoms become bad. *** But it's you to decide based on the size and number of the stones. 🙄 Better to save the gallbladder, but depending on the health situation. But health professionals say stones have tendency to come back. Please do some research yourself.

If stones are already beyond a limit in size and number - (doctors will know) then if surgery is compulsory... THEN YOU SHOULD KNOW the following which doctors don't tell you After surgery your child is at risk for the following:- * Thyroid problem * Triglycerides * Putting on weight * Digestion problem with spicy food You should take few precautions for digestion related and always be on alert with health. 🙄 I'm not scaring you, your child is still too young. Hence be aware.

@@krayziejerry Yes. But depending on size and number of stones also. This patient is only 11 yrs old. Can become painful. No allopathic doctor will monitor flushing of stones. If they do it under observation of a doctor in a hospital environment then it's the best option. I can't advice a 11yrs old child to do flushing without knowing medical condition. Gall attack is very painful.

Thanks Doctor very informative 👍 I have 1 questions in my 2 sonography it was showing 13 stone in bladder but I there was no pain. Now past 6 month pain started and when I go for sonography in USA, Doctor said there is no stone visible in bladder...what to do in that case

Is it compulsory to go for operation whose contracted , multiple calculus is seen 11 mm , wall appeared normal .

The fact is, The Gallbladder is important and does have a job. But sometimes you need it out or it can lead to really bad things, even death. So the pros outweigh the cons of having it removed if you have Gallstones, sludge, non active gallbladder, polyps, cancer or anything like that. If you have any of those things your gallbladder isn't working anyway so you might as well get it out and avoid more complications and excruciating pain. 9 times outta 10 your going to live a normal life and actually will have a better life when you realize how much it messed up your body. You will have increased energy and will just feel better. Not to mention you can eat and not be afraid of attacks and such. Will you get the runs after you eat and feel like you got some IBS for a few months, yep most likely but it will go away once your body ajusts yo not having the bile reserve storage bag(gallbladder).I have Gallstones and it's hell, been living with them for 5 years or more, looked into and studied the body and all the natural remedies out there and they didn't work and the flushes are all lies and will most likely just kill you. Getting my gallbladder removed in a couple weeks, can't wait!

@prabhakarpaul3568 Hi, it went perfectly. There weren't any complications at all. I was only in the hospital a few hours, lol. After I woke up, they said, "Put on your clothes, Your wife is waiting outside, lol. Was in pain for a few days. The actual incisions didn't hurt but had pain in my stomach and shoulders like I just had the workout from hell, lol. Mostly was from the gas, but it got better every day. Nothing that happened was remotely as bad as a gallbladder attack. I'm back to gaining weight and eating whatever I want. I started eating whatever after a few weeks, and I was good and still am.
