ANYONE can fish! Upper Swan Bream
Ep 5 - Swan River Snapshots - BASIC BREAM - After a long stretch of crammed timetables and disappointing sessions, I FINALLY got a chance to wet a line. I took J & M with me to the Swan River’s upper reaches near Guildford. Armed with rods, rigs and bait, we set out to chase Black Bream.
After a slow start, the Guildford Bridge came alive, with scores of rat bream and a very unexpected flathead (right after I said I’d stop targeting them!). As I fished, I looked at the differences between my current knowledge and when I started out as a young fella chasing bream. Check it out!
ABOUT THE SERIES:
In Swan River Snapshots, I move around the mighty Swan River, fishing brief sessions. Not every angler has hours to spend, so my hope for this series is to chuck in a line when I can, narrow my focus and answer some questions that our magnificent river has left me with.

That place has never failed me. Took my missus there for her first bream. She was excited after catching a couple. Good fun too!

Nice family video mate. Memories like that stick with kids forever. By the time they are old and reminiscing, those fish will have become huge river monsters. I suggest you think about Moore river with the kids. Very safe and tons of obliging little Bream.

If you check out my last vid, at the end you'll see I'm fishing near Ascot Waters. There's been a big shoal of Bream there for the last few weeks. There's a car park and a kids playground, grassy area, etc. Perfect for a kids bait soaking session. Plus, there are one or two reasonable fish amongst them. Fish a bout 50 metres down from the ramp. Well worth a go mate.@@dfjmadventures
