I'm 67 years young and that song is without a doubt one of my faves of all time!!!! Ann Wilson belts out this song and I get both shivers and want to cry every time I hear it. . Her voice is as epic as it ever was. I can never get enough of this song

I love the band HEART. ANNE WILSON'S VOICE IS FANTASTIC...WHAT A GREAT FEMALE VOCALIST !!! NANCY SINGS & PLAYS GUITAR AMAZINGLY. Love all the Heart songs. Saw them 3 times each year for my B'day when they played at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island, NY where I live. Anne's vocal range gives me chills. Best female band and miss seeing them perform. Today is June 19, 2024 and always a fan of HEART !!! ❤❤😊😊

Beautiful singing voice like this no longer exists. Singers now a days CANNOT sing, let alone carry a tune. This is real talent.

I recall as a young teenage lad when Heart was really flying high on the charts, all my friends would rave about how nice looking Nancy was and how great she was on the guitar. Well, that indeed was true, but I always had eyes for Ann. That long dark hair, round face, almond shaped eyes, full lips... and of course, that powerful voice. What isn't there to like???

Without Ann Wilson, the world wouldn't know Heart. Big love from Fiji, Ann. This is the music we grew up blaring out of the radio while growing up in the islands. Yes, even Fiji knew you in the 80's, 90's, 2000's, and even today. Big love your way.

There is not a female singer now nor has there ever existed one who tops the unGodly voice of Ann Wilson. Period.

I just saw Heart this past weekend for the 1st time in my 58 yrs. evev though I've been a fan since my teenage yrs. Ann is now 69 yrs. old.. People, Ann and Nancy both are the most Badass Women in Music!!! GO.SEE.HEART.NOW!!!💓💓💓

What a voice so powerful without shouting, not like some so called singers, cant believe its coming up to 50 years when i 1st saw her singing on TV.

OMG...omg...this lady was a superstar performer in the 80s....and she still can grab an audience with emotion from the depths of her being !

I have seen Ann Wilson so many times and it’s never enough. She knocks me out. Amazing always. She does not get the credit she deserves.

Thank you for the song "All I want to do is make love to you" and how you like and dislike the song because it's so wrong but it happens. It's a song that I can feel personally because it happened to me in 1985 and to this day I still don't know where my son is and I am too frightened to find out. Thank you again for caring about how this song might affect others because it does.

2 Years ago my daughter got me tickets to see Heart (Ann and Nancy Wilson) live in Grand Rapids, MI, for Mother's Day! I can honestly say it ranks in the top 3 concerts I've EVER experienced. I'm 62 and have been to many, many live performances. 10 out of 10!!! Don't care how old they are...they sound as good now as they sounded on the first album of theirs that I heard when I was 13!!

Ann, you still have it. One of the best voices in the business.

This version is so much more intimate and heartfelt. Still love the rock version, but at age 50, I believe that I can enjoy this rendition with the piano accompaniment just a little more. Thank you Ann!❤

Just happened across this. Always been a heart fan here in the UK since the early 80's. By far the best rock females in the world. Ann's voice is just stunning. Please come back to the UK again!!!!!

So pleased to see that Ann Wilson brought this one back! Looking back now, when I was a younger man who was probably taken advantage of by older women a couple times, I have never really thought of this song as devaluing the man... There are some profound subtexts underlaying this song. The story in the song always came across to me as one of raw honesty, not celebrating what she did, and instead eventually realizing the impact her actions had on her past lover, and trying to ask his forgiveness.

I love how calm and meaningful this song is sung ❤️

There´s a nice saying "No one is perfect" and the only thing my wife needs to be perfect is Ann Wilson´s voice hahaha. For the rest, she´s amazing.

BTW. She will hit the big 70, June 19. I don’t know about you guys but her rendition of “Stairway to Heaven” following the Honors to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center will figure large on my headphones that day. She smashed it to pieces. I cry every time.......

I loved how this story unfolded with her interpretation of how not to treat someone, but having to sing about it. I remembered how much I loved the song, but without hearing the lyrics until I grew older to really understand the meaning..

Love this lady and her voice.

In the interview portion, she said that she wanted to "tweak" the words a bit to offer that the man was not just a sperm donor, but that maybe their reunion had a chance. It appears she did that with just one change at 7:27, the old version was "I'm in love, with another man..."; this version is "I was in love with another man...". Small difference but huge. Well done Ann!

Not only this. At 5:51 she changed to 'here's the flower, here's the seed'. Interesting enough, she decided to keep 'that one little thing', which probably means it's not a reference to the baby as many believe, but to the fact that the one-night stand guy could make her come, something that her partner couldn't. I like the original lyrics because it has some ambiguity so that if you're a romantic person you can still see it as a beautiful story. :)

I graduated from high school the year Barracuda came out which was 1977. I have been blessed and fortunate to grow up with Heart thru all their greatness. Its simply amazing to get hooked on a singer or group at the beginning of their career and remain part of their growth thru out hearing every hit when it comes out brand new. Thats what Heart means to me....a fantastic life of wonderful, heavy and beautiful music. Thank you Heart for letting me grow up with you!!

She really IS all “Heart” I can’t believe she thinks that the song is unfair to the man, how unbelievably cool and sweet. Now how many women hurt by love say that? Damn, I respect that a lot, but hey, she could’ve “used” me any day like the guy in the video. However , I think she’s truly a better person than that. I absolutely love that she changed up the lyrics to make it not sleezy. I grew up with Heart, loved her vocals of the original, but I always felt the same as Ann about the second verse. I felt the gloating and spite of throwing a child in someone’s face was tawdry & it’s nice that Ann was able to switch it up to make it a love song rather than a “got u” song.

It sure surprised me to hear a woman talk about valuing the man, or even considering his feelings. Her voice is just everything good you can think of.
