Entirely agree. I was listening to this live version of 2024 Alone, there are no words, just tears, only Ann's voice has the ability to make me cry. Now at least we know Ann and her sister are back together that they know fans been waiting for years.

@DJMeCa~~Indeed,when I saw Kelly for the first time on Idol when she audtioned I said to friends/family she will win~~I also said she will become famous~~My gut never lies~~I seen her in concert in 2007 and she was so funny and interacted with the audience and danced and she was just to awesome for words~~But I have to admit those days when she was wild and a bit nutty~~Which I loved about her~~She has to forget how old she is which isn't old at all and start making videos again and get a little crazy~~lol~~I simply adore her and so happy enjoying her life with those gorgeous children of hers~~Luvs and hugs to Heart and our Kelly~~💗💗💗~~

Because if a singer constantly sings, they don’t lose their vocals, if they have a very long break from singing, the voice loosens, it’s a muscle, and then sounds like “old”

If there's ever an award for Heart where other people sing their stuff (Kennedy Center, etc like how Heart did for Led Zeppelin) Kelly should TOTALLY be the one to sing their stuff. She's one of the only people if not the only person who can come close to doing Ann's stuff justice.

In the mid-2000s, country singer Gretchen Wilson was hands-down the best artist to cover Heart songs, especially "Barracuda." Check out her performance on the 2007 MTV/VH1 Rock Honors show with Alice in Chains as the backing band (and an appearance by Nancy Wilson) and you'll be very, very impressed.

There are those certain groups in our lives, that touch us to our very SOUL. Heart is one of them for me. Kelly is amazing her own self.

Wow, how cool to have Heart on the show on her birthday and sing with them. Kelly crushed it!! Her voice is so powerful. When she hit that high note on Crazy On You, I had tears in my eyes. Amazing!

Ann’s voice …. It’s a once in a lifetime sound. I love how much Ann and Nancy sound alike when they speak. I know they’re sisters so, duh, of course they do, but it just makes me smile. They still sound freaking AWESOME. And of course, Kelly nailed it ❤

Thank God for Heart, two woman in a male controlled environment, Rock n Roll, who kicked down the doors for others to follow! Ann is one of the greatest vocalist ever, male or female( check out her duet with Disturbed), & Nancy is probably one of the most underrated guitarists ever! I'm so elated they are back together again! Long live heart!!!

This must have been a bucket list moment for Kelly... so amazing to watch! Two of the best vocalists in the last 50 years and easily one of the best guitarists ever.

Was a young US NAVY sailor in the 80s and stationed in San Diego. Lucky enough to be inport and finally got to see Heart back to back on their back to back huge albums Heart and Bad Animals respective tours. Awesome times.

This is Huge for Heart ❤️ to Go on a New Tour. These two (2) Sisters are Incredible and still know to how to Rock their Great Catalog of Songs. Good Luck! 👍🙏

Heart has been and always will be one of my favorite bands ever!! They’ve been with me my whole life. And yes a soundtrack of my life.

As a kid I was exceptionally lonely and pretty much neglected an as an only child of divorce I had no one to really play with. The one thing my mom did for me was instill a love of music. Every genre and she had a massive collection. Of records. Everything from Herman’s Hernits, Movie soundtracks , Csrpenters , Beatles.. you name it she probably had it. I’d put a record on and learn it sing for hours! It was my entertainment and I loved it. On my 13th birthday my dad was visiting from California and took me to a record store. It was the first time I was offered the opportunity to buy my own record weird as it may seem. I walked around the store and my eyes settled on Heart “Little Queen”. I loved the cover of that album. I took it home and devoured it! Heart will ALWAYS hold a very very special place in mine. ( Heart) my love for them lasted all these years! One of the highlights of my high school years was finding a friend that became my singing partner. We didn’t go to school much we mostly ditched and went to the woods with a group and sang .. when Heart came to my town we went to the Heart /Kansas concert and found ourselves backstage with a dog named Wombie if I’m not mistaken. I think it was Nancy’s. We briefly met the guys from Kansas and Heart themselves. I asked if I could take the piece of tape on the dressing room and to this day on my yearbook I have that piece of tape that says “Heart Ladies” Kelly is living my dream! If I can’t experience it first hand at least I’m able to watch! Ironically my birthday was April 29th.my dad came to Illinois to visit me in may of 77 it’s a whole birthday thing. Hmm.

Did you ever go to a gig, just to give a band a listen, see what they are like live. I did this with the Wilson sisters and Heart. Went along to their gig after work one evening just for the hell of it and was blown away by the experience. Great, great gig. It was when the were on the Bad Animals tour. Absolutely magic🎸🥁

To have them singing alone was truly magnificent I sang that song on karaoke in a couple of competitions on that song, and I won❤❤

That's what's most important. Because life is just to damn short not to folks. Now onto Ann Wilson is her voice not timeless...!!! This woman has TRULY been gifted. I have been told i have a vocal gift but i am no where near what Ann is. She's just in a different class altogether. She pampers and takes care of her voice as the instrument it is. And i think in fact i know that is what has preserved it all these years. This will probably be their final tour together. So i wish them the best in spreading their music to the masses. Whether it be old fans or new. For the new fans your in for one helluva treat...!!!

Prolific songwriters Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg wrote "Alone". They first recorded it years earlier for a Duo they had. I think Ann is talking about Tom singing the demo. He also sang backup on the recorded version. He also sings backup on "You Ain't So Tough" from the Bad Animals album. The song went to #1 for three weeks in the US in July 1987.

Heart still sounds great, looks great and indeed, even better, because they are seasoned performers, and Ann's rasp is haunting. Kelly's voice blends beautifully with Ann. I think they should make a joint album, with Ann putting her mystical spin on some of Kelly's more emotional hits, and Kelly joining in on some of the Heart classics. Wouldn't that be something?

They are so beautiful! Soundtrack of my youth and were so empowering to the female vibe! I maintain to this day that Ann Wilson is top of the heap of female vocal talents.
