Frankly I'm missing the harmonies with Nancy to tell u the truth. Ann sings well even the deaf can hear that but i hope they unite and sing together once more. The harmonies are unique. Under the Sky, There's the Girl, Wild Child, Never, What About, Rode Home, Ring Them Bells, Dog and Butterfly, Bad Animals, Want you So Bad are just some favorites

At the Seattle Arena (now torn down)... Heart opened for Supertramp. March '76. "Oooh, I like this band". Girlfriend in '79, took me to Ann's house with a BBQ and neighbors... and sat next to Ann playing Beatle songs and Carpenters, etc. Her voice moved my hair ! Over 500 videos on my KZread channel... It's awesome that artists are doing that now. People who see the shows on YT are far more likely to pay to go to them. For example, I played this for a friend, now he can't wait to go with me to see Ann live next time. It only makes sense. The whole thing with Metallica was ridiculous.

This should have been out 30 years ago in 1987 when I was dying to read and see Heart and hear what Ann had to say. I still feel bitter that the tremendous Heart shows of the 1980s were not given the proper accolades they deserved like a Hockey team winning the Stanley Cup but the media ignoring the stunning feat and the excitement the fans felt. I am happy that 30 years later Ann is still around and still touring. Going to see Ann once a year ends up being the best thing that happens the entire year for me at this point in my life. Seeing Ann Wilson in the 1980s ended being my Woodstock moment that the 1960s generation experienced. I'll never forget seeing Heart live in 1985 and 1987 as long as I live.

A great musician/singer carries on adapting as their range and voice changes... Ann is the epitome of this, hence her incredible longevity and continuing relevance. I was lucky enough to see her at the Royal Albert Hall, after waiting forty-odd years for the privilege - a privilege I never thought I'd have. A world-class venue and the classiest vocalist of all time... Brits don't normally do effusive but there is always an exception. I'm shutting up now before I start to sound like some creepy stalker... I know - too late!

I agree! Any focus on Ann Wilson is more than appreciated by those who mega-respect both her artistry and attitude. But this film is an extra special treat, very nicely done. I have been a Heart focused fan since 1976 and am so damned proud and pleased to see how Ann and Nancy have been able to stay the course in expressing and impressing us all for more than four decades. Any young woman who was in their 20s in the 70s saw and heard the Wilson Women as smart, sensitive, sexy and so SO talented. Powerful forces in rock and roll, who always deserved even greater recognition than they got. Sing it, Annie! Play it, Nancy! So thrilled to have had you positively affect my life. Rock on, ladies.❤❤

“Ann Wilson/ In Focus” is a stellar documentation of where this beautiful woman is artistically, in 2017. The concert footage is fantastic, and the in depth interview snippets are soul revealing, yet seamlessly threaded within. Breathtaking to see Ann’s artistic life continue to evolve in scope. Ann Wilson’s actual performance sees her cutting loose as much as she ever has, and also displaying sensitive nuance in storytelling, obviously borne of experience from a life lived well. The band rocks and really jams! This is a very engrossing watch! My personal favorite is Ann’s take on Peter Gabriel’s “Don’t Give Up.” Very grateful to have an ever evolving artist of this caliber to look up to in my lifetime, and this film captures her essence. I love you, Ann.

I love how she's always so chilled...never in a rush to talk over anymore or rude. Very down-to-earth. I think she understands the value of staying genuine and "human", despite her AMAZING AND UNFATHOMABLE talent! I grew up in the 80s/90s, so I heard much of their "commercial" famous albums (Heart, Bad Animals). However, when I began to dig back into their early stuff (Little Queen, Dreamboat Annie, Magazine, Passionworks, and Private Audition), I was AMAZED all over again! Listen, fellas... THE LADY CAN ROCK, AND THERE'S NO DENYING!🎤🔥 Love you, Ann!❤ And THANK YOU (over and over and over again for your contribution to the music world and MY LIFE!🙏🏽💯)!

@Ann Wilson of Heart ❤ Always an incredibly Beautiful Smile and entire face. Ann, your voice and mind is equally beautiful, and your outstanding natural talent and skills have never wavered through time. You’ve persevered over all the strife many assholios and the industry has inflicted upon you. I admire you to no end. I’m sorry you were forced to endure the cold ‘n sh*tty side of humanity. But wow, when that happens to good people, it makes us grow stronger, after they’ve broken us. With resilience and determination and power, we glue ourselves back together with pure gold sealant. I “see” you. Body weight does not define us! Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder. Remember that old adage?! It’s truth. You’re rocking it woman. Thanks for sharing your lifelong gift. Nancy and you changed the world of Rock for Women, for the better. If you get my meaning?! This interview and concert was another gift. Letting us in on your passion and meaning within songs. You express yourself so well and genuine, it’s impressive. I respect you in so many ways, and relate with who you are…in the HEART. I was a teen when Heart was peaking. Dreamboat Annie. It all was so amazingly great. We women were and still are so proud of you and Nancy. I played your vinyl album over and over, singing and feeling deep into my soul. Whenever I hear your Heart songs, it brings back those excellent memories of my lifetime. “Dog and Butterfly” always makes me cry. After I heard you explain the lyrics it gained even more heartfelt meaning I related with. ❤❤ Rock on woman!🎉 😊With love & appreciation, your fan and admirer, Celeste, from the beautiful Pacific NW, USA

Ann has the single most amazing voices in rock... really, in any genre. It's powerful, clear, bluesy, rich, has incredible range, and, my goddess, it gives me chills every time I hear it. I've been hooked since the first time I heard Crazy On You. It tears at my soul to think we may have seen the last of Heart, but they've given me a lifetime of awesome music and memories. One of my 3 fav singers ever.. Give me Ann Wilson, Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder . Sitting around a fire chillin with a few beers. Singing some cover songs n kicking it about life. She has such a cool earthly vibe n outlook. Even though she’s got me by probably 20 yrs , she’s my celebrity crush. Her personality , her delivery n tone when she speaks does it for me as well as her outer beauty. Her love of lyrics n poetry. Yet I love she is a caged rocker inside dont let the 80’s ballads fool ya! Just watch this performance of “A million miles “ The song is killer n she crushes it!! . I’ll be her biggest fan forever - meet n greet would be awesome.

If you don't know or haven't listen to them, from the beginning, I recommend you to....from 1975 to 1984 most of those years was the real HEART, though it started to change at the beginning of the 80's and the 70's has been the best decade so far. though the 60's gave us the masters THE BEATLES the best band ever and who started all...'

Listen to just EVERYTHING he plays on 'What About Love', even the rhythm guitar arrangement is just oozing syrupy sweet ear honey, damn. And the solo, dude! Ann has always been a powerful, beautiful, force of nature singer, but what I love to find is her just talking.. about whatever. Her views perspectives & opinions about things she elaborates on is infinitely captivating & she just draws you into her world. A national treasure for sure!

I've seen a lot of bands back in the 70's and 80's, but never got a chance to see Heart. And I missed out seeing The Doors at Dinner Key in Miami, with the Morrison fiasco (parents wouldn't let me go), but this vid, and others from the earlier days is as good as it is going to get for me. I truly missed out on an experience! Taped concerts are great, but being there, is priceless!!!

I love how the intimate, one on one interviewing in interweaved with the songs. After listening all these years, all the emotion Ann conveys that i've picked up on, I now know is right on. It's really just concrete proof of the power of music and how it transmits thoughts, emotions, and energy to millions of people, just from one person. WELL DONE!

Ann Wilson *** Rock Channel is that really you Ann, commenting in here? If it's truth and watching you talking in this interview is just insane, I feel you so close and you look so beautiful as always, I've been in love with you since I heard your second album and saw you wearing that gypsy out fit style, of course with the whole band too for your great rock and roll music (unique sound) and your voice and personality wow, wow, I've always say you are my forever platonic love, and I always fantasies that is to me you singing la mujer que hay en mi, I'm Latino, anyway , now you know you have a very secret great lover. Thanks for being you and gave us all those singing performances that I don't really have favourites.can anybody ? how can I choose a favourite if when ever I thought I could there's always, immediately another one. and on and on. Thanks again..!! I was in your concerts every time I could between '76 and '84 around the states. If I'm not mistaken I think I went 5 days in a roll in San Francisco Ca. Also in one "the day on the green" Oakland Coliseum, at Concord pavilion too, Seattle a couple of times and to finish you came to play in Brandon Canada a couple of years ago that is where I live now and funny I missed you, but I still listen to your art whenever possible. never get enough of dreamboat Annie, little queen, magazine dog and butterfly babe l'strange.(whole albums)

I'm so happy for having found this amazing video with Ann singing as awesome as always, but this time without the pesky auto-tune that just destroys her voice. Thanks for singing like yourself again, Ann! You rock! :-) P.S.: I hate auto-tune from the bottom of my soul. Getting out-of-pitch is part of singing, it's human.

Dear Ann, thank you so much for this film. It is so great to see what you have been up to, and to hear how you are viewing life now. I have been a fan of Heart since the 1980s. I had all of your records, and listened to many songs over and over again, because I resonated with them so much. You would not believe how much your voice and your persona (including the overweight) have helped me through the years. I am one of those that would have accepted your appearance no matter what. I am sorry you had to go through anguish caused by those that think that being skinny is the only way to be beautiful. Keep doing you. Your hardcore fans will always appreciate what you stand for, and how much joy you have already brought (and are still bringing) to this world by living in it. Thank you, girl.
