Anime Foxgirl Seduces Dungeon Master | r/rpghorrorstories

Ойын-сауық

In today's episode of RPG Horror Stories, we have a story about two dungeons and dragons players that come up with a great idea on how one of the players that has a crush on the dungeon master, to "seduce" him. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work out the way they think it will.

This story is one of those old classics of the rpg horrors library. Part of me gets the impression that Annie is the sort of person who tries to treat real-life people like they're her sims.

I always lean towards her not being an actually real person as the story came out when hating on anime watchers was the popular reddit trend at the time before it switched to the overly religious for a breif spell, but if real she's definitely out of touch with reality.

Ooh, we’re looking at a classic today! I still don’t understand what the heck Trish and Annie were thinking. That plan was absolutely ridiculous. Waiting scantily clad in someone’s room like that can be hot if you’re already involved with that person, but if you aren’t, it’s just creepy AF-especially if the person is already in a relationship with someone else, like OP was! How did Trish and Annie expect that to go?

This story is OOOLD. The entire context is that the "fox girl" couldn't separate game from reality and thought the DM was subtly hinting at a possible relationship. This ended up spiraling out of control when she tried to roll for seduction irl and hit a nat 1. Now this isn't an example of "not mixing dating with DND". On the contrary. I've listened to a good amount of stories where positive and long lasting relationships have formed through the game. But just like the term Rules as Written, there's a right way and a wrong way to find the right better half. And this chick CLEARLY decided to homebrew her own plan. The sad part being that the whole thing ended up ruining a whole other relationship because her friend thought the DM was a prick for not taking the hint. Even though the DM was ON THE SPECTRUM! All in all, this is a big example of a good opportunity ruined because of bad communication.

@@Keiji555 if the person in the story is real, they are pretty nutty, but I have doubts. The author is tripping over himself to say how nerdy, witty, athletic, and popular he is and goes out of his way to say the girl he rejected is pretty several times. Generally, if I had to kick a woman out of my bed, the last thing I would note is her level of physical attractiveness as my mind would be on other things. Kicking a crazy, half naked woman out of your quad is going to cause more problems for you than her, and the author brushes past that because it did not happen and they did not think about it. It is a power fantasy where the author gets to reject a girl and be justified for it. Plus, who tries to seduce someone after being gassy from a night of chips and pop and a full game where everyone is probably covered in gamer funk? This is not a very well thought out fantasy, and it depends on several people who have no motivation to do so to conspire to get op laid and come clean about their secret plans when caught, like a scooby do villian. They lay it on thick, and at the time this was written there were a lot of stories written in the 10's where every forum tried to top each other about how crazy furies are; that was where "wolfman Craig" came from. Kind of like if you read a story from the 00's that ends with, "and then they all stood up and clapped." They are all made up.

@@rynowatcher Hey, I'm not saying people don't fudge things about themselves, but hey, it's the internet. A lot of people do stretch the truth about themselves. Yeah, it will cause problems for him anyways. And there are crazy women out there that would do this kind of shit. I mean, a lot of people fantasize about running people over and do it, but that's crazy right? And it isn't the only story on some of these channels where they do stuff like this. Ever hear the story about the furry convention, and one of the people at the DnD table had a diaper on? People are nuts. People have weird fetishes, such as foot fetishes, which often do smell, and some people, as mentioned, like diapers. That isn't a pleasant smell. Go take a look at fetish sites. Some of them are downright weird. And there are plenty of furries that were crazy. And hell, there are a lot of them that are genuinely crazy. Have you checked out Den of the Drake and CritCrab, they cover some insane furry stories. And look at twitter and reddit bios. We have people who "identify" as various furrykin. That's not something I made up. It really still happens to this day. And I was a teen in the 00s, and never heard of that in a story. People are insane. Take a look at a number of those Karen videos, and tell me "That's not real. People don't behave that way. It's set up and nothing but actors". I've seen things, and I know this story isn't in the realm of disbelief.

@@Keiji555 I mean I assume most horror stories are "big fish stories" and there is some dramatic imbelishment, but it kind of ruins it for me if it seems like it is just a creative writing assignment. It is the difference from being able to enjoy a sci fi movie with faster than light travel but losing me if they say pure water is poisonous to humans or humans need 100% carbon monoxide to breath. There is a point at which it loses you because it is straining to belief. I mean, members in kink culture typically seek other people into the same kink. Them throwing it on an attempt to seduce a new partner unless they are into it. One might be big into bdsm; for example, but one is not going to bring out the studded paddle the first intimate encounter; that is a Hollywood comedy for that kind of thing to be pulled on someone without talking about it. Not saying someone cannot act irrationally, but everyone is acting weird, though for this situation to make sense. The fried and the furry having a standing plan to get op laid, the fact op had to explain that he was athletic and nerdy for a hot fury to find him irresistible, the friend confessing their conspiracy like a Scooby-Doo villan when caught, the irrational method of the seduction, the fact this had to be d&d related if all since the fury is his friend and hangs out at his quad regularly and she could just knock on his door and ask to come in, the fact op is comedically oblivious to the fury being hot for him while adding clear jokes in the story that show with and knowledge of things to come, the fact the friend cares about fury's plan to seduce op, and the girlfriend who comes into the story only when he needs a reason why he is better than the fury throwing herself at him are just a few. Den of the Drake is one of my favorites because he actually expresses doubt at some parts of these sories or entire stories in general. As I remember den of the drake's take was op is too full of himself to be takes seriously. Not yucking your yum here, but this one lost me early.

@@rynowatcher Water.. poisonous... what? Where did you get that example? There's a difference between that, and possible realm of human capabilities. There are many who force their kinks on others without truly permitting it, or understanding consent. (And I'm not gonna quote Barney Stinson about the hot/crazy scale.) Okay, the matter with the one friend seems sus, I admit. (And I've seen this happen, though. My Mother was a victim of this, with my ex-stepfather who played his ex against my Mom, without no one knowing, and because of that, one of my aunts believed false lies about my Mom and brother, and she went postal on us. Yes, convoluted. But my ex-stepdad was very manipulative.) You'd think there would be respect given to a friend, and approaching him directly and actually approaching the OP. I am doubting this part, although not outside the realm of human possibility. That's fair. I like the pov of Den of the Drake as well. I agree that the OP is full of himself though. Some people are egotistical, and we don't know enough about the situation with the GF, and despite some people not understanding boundaries, you are right. We need to question the stories, especially if the word "quirky" comes up. He does sound a little too perfect, yet many athletes do get into DnD nowadays. (They do want to do stuff other than go to the gym sometimes) And yeah, that experience with the ex-stepfather, him making all his exes to seem like crazy lunatics, which he did to his babymama, and my Mom to the point where she had to leave the city which she was a respected member of society, because people were starting to believe him... I wouldn't doubt if this really happened, even if embellished. But yeah, it's a story that does need to be taken with a bit of doubt. You're right. sorry about that.

Can i ask the rather silly question - how do you know any of this is real? I mean, if someone os capable of playing/running games, it could just as easily be a made up story/fantasy. Maybe i am missing the point....🤷‍♂️

The point's not really if it's real, but if it's entertaining. I agree this one in particular sounds awfully made-up.

Lmao! The story itself is hilarious, in a WtAF?! kinda way, but then "Beware horny Bard players wearing fox ears." Delivered in perfect deadpan like a fortune cookie slip absolutely killed me!🤣

Okay, this story is getting repetitive, seriously every D&D channel has already talked about this story. Sorry if I sounded rude, it's just that the story isn't new anymore.

A side effect of D&D channels not having dibs on covering stories or rules against repeating content.

this story sounds so fake it's remarkable. - She's into anime, so that's red flag - I'm super charismatic and have awesome rugby-body and have parties all the time, but also play DnD and have no idea, when a girl takes a liking in me - Don't shit in my toilet, don'T care if you must, shit in your pants, but not in my toilet - I have no idea when someone in my flat goes to my bedroom instead of toilet - I have a girlfriend, but my girl-friends invite other girls to sleep with me - She left my flat, but the hallway is so huge, others can stand 100 meters away to see the whole scene.

    1. Anime's popular regardless of how many people make it problematic. 2. Probably being fit and social doesn't mean you should automatically identify homewreckers. 3. Turned out she lied about needing the bathroom so it does not matter. 4. Could be a place with a bathroom connected to a bedroom. 5. Not all girlfriends demand their men never hang out with other women or suspect they'll attempt seduction.
