I bet this has been said before but it would've been such a beautiful change of fate if before the nails were implanted, guilliman had gone on a quest to physically visit and inspect each world in ultramar. He ends up on nuceria and the high riders try kissing his ass by bringing him to the arena where he gets this weird feeling. A giant gladiator comes out and they both look at each other. Guilliman jumps down and approaches him to the confusion of the crowd and says only one word, "Brother?". He then turns to the high riders and says "You enslaved my brother?". They free the slaves and destroy the high riders and secure angrons loyalty and love to guilliman and eventually the emperor.

So we should blame Robot Girlieman... 🤔
Wish you all the best, Boss! You deserve it!
🧡🟠 Which alternate Heresy Angron is better? In the sense is it better Angron who is healed from the butcher's nails or Angron who never had the butcher's nails (example Blood Angels)? He who looks like a barbarian gladiator but is actually a rock of discipline and valor worthy for the World Eaters (and the Emperor)? (The Crimson Slaughter certainly doesn't need butcher's nails to create an ocean of blood) With his warriors, then finally with his sons, Angron manages to liberate the world of Nuceria and become its ruler. It would be clearer to say that: Angron is saved and raised by the village of the city of Desh'ea and then sells himself as a gladiator planning its conquest and liberation, neither he nor Oenomaus receive the butcher's nails but they are still forced to fight with Angron who gives an honorable death to his dear mentor, then (recruiting more villagers and soldiers over time) in the last battle the Emperor decides to send the World Eaters to defend Angron and his gladiators (recognizing potential new forces for his XII Legion) and subsequently, with all medical science, heal the heads of the surviving men. A good example is Vladus Barca himself (practically the loyalist version of Angron). And the World Eaters choose to repaint parts of themselves red to honor the title (and above all the sacrifice) of their father: the Lord of the Red Sands. Precisely as an example the Blood Angels, since the World Eaters of Angron do not suffer from the butcher's nails they still suffer from a kind of mental torment, the Blood Voice, which forces the most affected to shed enormous blood in order to gain some respite (of course the Librarians, using the Primarch's empathic psychic power, try their best to heal everyone). Angron also lived alongside ferocious predators, the wild Wolves of Nuceria (hard-skinned beasts), before being taken by the people of the village. And just like the Iron Hands with the Bulls of Medusa, the Dark Angels with the Lions of Caliban and the Space Wolves with the Wolves of Fenris, the World Eaters learn to build a bond with the creatures of their home planet. Another good possibility is this! Oenomaus had already freed Desh'ea and ruled House Thal'kyr, then after hearing about the boy named Angron, raised first by wolves and then by villagers, he decides to recruit him among his gladiators, seeing him as their hope. Angron thus grows well becoming a just adult, in a reborn city with a large army of strong warriors, successfully leading his valiant soldiers (and many others thanks to his empathic psychic power), with the title Lord of the Red Sands, against the tyrants (witnessing the tragic but honorable death of his father figure in the last battle), ultimately becoming the Gladiator King, powerful ruler of all Nuceria. Some time after the planet's pacification Angron meets the Emperor, this time voluntarily embracing his place as son, Primarch and father of the XII Legion of War Wolves (World Eaters), officially making Nuceria their homeworld. Or maybe even this: all the cities of Nuceria are already free and governed by several Gladiator Kings (the bloody slavery just a bad memory), who over time see the rise of the wolf Angron Thal'kyr as a sign of a worthy ruler (and future worthy Primarch)! (The path like that of Sanguinius)

Khorne❤️Magic🔴: Metal🔴 (Iron❤️Blood)! Perturabo the Demon Primarch of Khorne and his Iron Warriors: just like living armor leaking hot iron generated by their own boiling blood! (And most terrifyingly, despite their rage their minds are intact) According to logic, how would Perturabo seal his pact with Khorne, destroying first Monarchia and then Olympia? Can he become a master of destructive Metal Magic, then creating bloodthirsty Sorcerers of Khorne in his army? Perfect example is the magic of Azariah Kyras as the Daemon Prince of Khorne! Not Kharn but Kroeger the Betrayer!

Loyalist Angron vs Daemon Primarch Perturabo. "You think I am weak...but you have grown weaker Perturabo. I have remade my strength, while you have sold yours out of dispair. You are weak. You are a slave. You where born a slave, and a slave you will remain. Your strength flees. It does not belong to you. It is your master's, and the chain that keeps you throttles you. The threads of blood are thinning, the meal of slaughter will only keep you here long enough, to watch your bastard sons die."
R.I.P Mago. Dude tried to save his legion and primarch.
Question Boss, it's come to my attention that the Imperium of 41st/42nd millenium believe that there were only 9 Primarchs; so would you mind explaining what current day Imperials belive the Horus Heresy was and Chaos Space Marines are?

Long after the catastrophic event of old night man was swallowed in nothing but darkness and cried out for a champion to save them ,seeing this he who had original created humanity and had guided it along its path could sit idle by no longer and so the EMPEROR OF MANKIND revealed himself and his legions setting out to reclaim all that which humanity had lost and make right all the wrongs of old night. Quickly his armies spread throughout the galaxy letting all know mankind would not be lost so easily. However, the greater the light shines the darker the shadows covet it’s warmthy glow, and so the chaotic warp spat forth nine great demons lead by the loupercaul who set about their work to topple the EMPEROR OF MANKIND’S great work, though do not be fooled for the EMPEROR OF MANKIND is not one to be caught unaware and so created forth the nine primarchs to battles the horrid warp spawn with fire and zeal, the greatest of which being the glorious sanguinious who died by the loupercauls hand but his sacrifice allowed the EMPEROR OF MANKIND to land a killing blow against the loupercaul and emerging victorious, though from the mighty battle EMPEROR OF MANKIND was drained of his strengths and ascended the sacred golden throne and from there till this day he guides ships through turbulent warp and enacts great works through his imperial saints, FOR THE EMPEROR.

@@ionic_archangel2655 many thanks fellow war pug. You even helped me figure out why Sanguinius has his own holiday 👍
I said it on WarriorTier's channel, I'll say it again: _This shouldn't be free._ *It's THAT good.* I wasn't surprised you knew about the project, nor the stellar cast; but I laughed out loud hearing Valrak in there (his voice is somehow funny to me 😂❤)

Angron's understanding of what it means to be a warrior is completely warped by the nails, and being a 'warrior' for sport. To much 'talk', to much 'diplomacy' ? A berserker that only exists to destroy is not a warrior, it is a rabid, brainless beast with no future. Part of Angron's tragedy was his failure to understand how being a warrior works, and why. It might not have been his fault, but this failure was still key in his failure.

To be fair without the nails I think he would completely understand what it means

@@Mondy667 Exactly my point - Angron had the possibility to be the perfect warrior - extremely efficient and able, a proper force; tempered with the knowledge of when and how to utilize that force and when not, when to let his innate empathy rule the day.
Meaning no offense, but I think you have a gross misunderstanding of Lorgar and his motivations. He genuinely loved his brothers, but he was a victim of abuse and constant trauma. Kor Phearon and Erebus mentally abused and manipulated Lorgar to do as they wanted. During the Crusade he openly admits he doesn’t want to be a conqueror or warrior, he wants to be a builder. Someone that people can look up to and not see the blood coating their hands. Monarchia was considered the most beautiful city in the galaxy aside from terra, even Guilliman admitted he felt shame for destroying it. Lorgar built that, and his citizens were THE most loyal in the Imperium. The Emperor was wrong in how he handled the whole situation. Guilliman thinks about all of this in dark imperium. And about ascension, the Four don’t ascend their most useful real space minions for a reason. Fulgrim, Angron, and Mortarion were all ascended because they gods knew it would be easier to get them over the others (Perturabo told Nurgle to fuck off). When he was finally ascended, it was with the power of ALL FOUR gods, that only ever happened with belakor before. I get not liking him because he’s a villain, but let’s not forget how hard he was pushed into the role.

I am 100% sure I could change your mind about Lorgar.

@@OldManReactsI don’t think so. I’ve read the majority of the books and lore over the past 20 years. I’m not saying Lorgar isn’t a villain, I’m just saying he’s one of the more understandable ones after you read the heresy books. I’m always open to having my mind changed though. My favorite aspect of the hobby is discussing the lore and learning other’s interpretations of it.

@@DavisXero You should join the discord! I'd love to talk to you about this in particular!
Arguably, Lorgar did nothing that was worse compared to what everyone else did. Lets assume Angron died a mortal...what about his soul? I very much doubt he would just have gone to a peaceful afterlife. Or to just go into the void. Thats not the kind of universe 40k is. He would likely still have been captured by Khorne, or his soul be feasted upon by demons. Ascension to a demonic demigod doesn't sound so bad in comparison really.
