She’s a prodigy and phenomenon. She’s transforming the WMBA and increasing its visibility by massive percentages. She’s breaking rookie and regular records. Sports are not politics, but this is clearly a hive mind immune response to the fact that she is blowing the WNBA up and the vets are JEALOUS. So much so that they refuse to put her on the Olympic team. The pettiness is real. Women snapping at the hand that feeds them like it’s a unwanted growth. Sad to see tribalism over objectivity.

Double double with points and rebound,, what is the league season record so far? There are 129 double doubles with points and assists. What about triple doubles record? There are only 3 recorded triple doubles this season and 1 of which is made by Caitlin Clark. Speaking of double doubles with points and ASSISTS? There are 19 recorded so far this season and 4 of which was made by Caitlin Clark. I think the debate as to who is the ROTY is a no-brainer. With just 22 games, you can definitely see how CC deserve to be the ROTY, she made an impact to her team within 22 games, the worst team before CC, look at them now, the team beat the no.1 team.

She is having a historic season that you are not being told about. Catilin is averaging 16, 6, 7+.. Points, rebound, assists per game. No rookie has ever average that for a season ever in the WNBA. Its so good you have to go to the NBA for a comp. Magic Johnson and Oscar Roberson are the only rookies ever to do that and nobody in the WNBA. As a matter of fact, I don't think and 2nd or 3rd year player in the WNBA has ever done that. But we dont know how historic this season is because of the woke azz media and people like mcstuid, baynut dont know how to do their job. How is a layman like myself able to compile and honest, objective analysis and these clowns cant.

This discussion of Angel over Caitlin for ROTY is just like the people talking up Chet Holmgren half way through the season vs Wemby. It was simply to create parity and close horserace that just doesn't match up to the eye test in reality. Caitlin Clark is rewriting the entire WNBA narrative, filling arenas, and bringing new eyes to the league. Fortunately Wemby stepped it up the latter half of the season and left the rest of the rookies in his dust. Since the Olympic snub, Caitin has been putting up even better numbers than earlier in the season and her efforts to include her teammates have started paying off and hopefully this ROTY race will be more blatantly obvious by the end of the season to all of the voters.

And if you're honest, had there been no CC vs Reese matchup two seasons ago ("can you see me now?" hand gesture and all) with LSU taking the ring and then ANOTHER matchup a year later between the two, we would not be talking about CC the way we are now. There's no shine on Batman without a Joker. No Superman without a Lex Luther. And whether we like it or not, that is the Ying and Yang of these two women right now. I watched CC in the NCCA tournament and she loves to run and gun if she gets doubled teamed during a game she will feed it. Head coach should have found that out in her film. Also, her block shot Stat is better than Reese. Stats just don't lie. Her coach even said after liberty game her players are now catching up with the way she passes up court. I've never watched that much WNBA but I'm surprised Nike and the NBA Commisioner has not walked in that WNBA COMMISIONER and told her enough crap on her treatment or go find your own money. How can anybody say getting rebounds are not impressive but then turn around and congratulate somebody on getting a record where rebounds are apart of it? The real reason why the WNBA authorities excluded CC from the national team and serious consideration as the Rookie of the Year is because by doing so, they would be acknowledging their own incompetence and ineffectiveness in letting the WNBA be what it was before CC came along - a game league losing $10M a year, which almost nobody watches with very little national awareness. Almost single-handedly CC has increased awareness of the WNBA in the US and abroad, increased attendance and income to unprecedented levels, and brought the quality of WNBA to its highest level than ever before. That is why these pathetic WNBA authorities continuously snub CC, do not punish hard fouls appropriately and show extremen unawareness of the Caitlin Clark effect on the WNBA. Shame on them! They should be replaced with more responsive and responsible personalities.

With only 60 sportswriters having a vote and them being part of the media in general, there is zero doubt that Angel Reese will win ROTY, no matter how well CC does in the 2nd half of the season or even if they win a few playoff games. And when this happens, the attendance and viewership will be right back to where it was last year.

Watched for maybe 10 games and haven't watched a single game since, until this year. This year I have tried watching a few games that were not Fever but just never got into them. I could see myself eventually liking to watch Aces, Liberty, and Jewell Lloyd.

As of now there have been 129 point/ rebound double doubles. 19 assist/points double double in which Clark has 4 in her last 5 games. Then there have been 3 triple doubles. Clark has a much better effective shooting percentage by almost 10 percentage points. Clark is the best point guard in the league. Reese is not the best power forward in the league. The fever are much better this year while the sky is worse. Clark is leading in the points scored and assisted. It really isn’t close. Clark gets guarded harder than anyone in the history of the wnba. Clark is much better. It’s not really that close. I see both Reese and Clark having a better second half of the season. I think the Fever will end with a considerable better record than the Sky. The Fever are going to be a real problem for other teams very soon.

It's so refreshing to hear an intelligent assessment of the facts, dismissing the inane suggestion by McNutt that ROTY should be based on team standing. The level of absurdity inherent in that statement is baffling. Most of us would agree that Skip Bayless is an absolute embarrassment as a sports commentator, so he has very little credibility with sports fans. Saying that Reese deserves to be in contention for ROTY, over CC, is as spectacularly stupid as putting Dennis Rodman in the same category as Michael Jordan - how insane is that!!
