I really appreciate them getting out of bed and dressed for this amazing perfomance.

The National is my favorite band, but only Andrew Bird can lyrically and tonally outclass Matt. A collaborative album would be stellar.

Andrew Bird's head is like the symphony conductor that's moving a half beat ahead of the music, but impeccably.

I'd say that besides his incredible voice, one of Matt's greatest attributes is the ability to feel the temperature of the room. His pick of Pink Rabbits as a song to perform here with good ol' Andrew is perfect.

WTF!! Two of the three most favorite musicians in the entire Universe!!! Three is the magic number with Justin Vernon but my mind may just explode. Love you brothers!!

This is a perfect combination of my favorite musicians-Andrew and Matt in one setting! :) I love the acoustics of this Great Room and the music you've created here. Wow, everything that saved me a few years ago in one show. Bless you, and bless everyone. And I love Matt Beringer's voice in this setting, live, unwarped by effects. Plus I prefer the tempo Mr Bird set here for "pink rabbits" to the studio version that is almost smarmy. And the master of an instrument who can't play "shiny wood" or " cloudy" are either lame, or lying. It's when a songwriter says: "play how pissed I was last Tuesday" that the cohesive meltdown occurs. :-D And I wonder how long in this "culture" the phrase "click of the receiver" will last. Who knows, except us oldsters, what that even means? When I first heard it I thought stereo receiver. But no, I recall the click of the phone receiver.
