Anakin was stupid, staying with the jedi, he should just have forced his way in, freed Ahsoka, went into hiding with her, and done the investigation remotely through Padme. That would’ve proved Ahsoka’s innocence, also cause she wouldn’t have gone through the entire escape, collaboration with Ventress, and fight with Barriss. Jedi using the dark side for good, objective, mankind good causes, is fine, but Anakin was selfish, wanting to save Padme.

One of Dave Filoni’s more admirable traits is his attention to detail, rewatch this scene and look at anakin’s eyes, notice how they’ve lost their amber tone. Thats no animation mistake, those are the eyes of a fallen jedi, those who have not fully embraced the darkness but one that is at a shatterpoint in the galaxy that could turn at that very moment.

@@otisboy6714 But he was a Jedi, and in Military Operations the orders of high command outrank that of the Jedi, especially if they’re on Coruscant, where the Jedi were far away from any battlefield and performed their traditional duties at the temple, also keep in mind Admiral Tarkin outranks General Skywalker as an Admiral in the Navy is higher than a General in the Army. So there is basically no possible angle Skywalker had to see his Padawan, he was outplayed.

Exactly, he wasn't a bad person in his core. He was just a man that had already lost so much, and just kept on losing. That made him very easy to manipulate through fear, and that's precisely what Palpatine did.

Imagine if anakin had a master like kreia… damn how things could have been different. Anakin was pure force dna/genetics. He needed more guidance than even what yoda could offer him, he needed knowledge from both sides of the force, by alienating anakin and telling him nothing about the dark side, it gave the chancellor a chance to pique anakins curiosity about the dark side. We saw how powerful anakin was, but he was just the most powerful dark side user AS WELL as being the most powerful light side user. By only giving him 1 side of the coin no wonder he ended up going crazy and turning to the darkside when he felt alone.

@@Slim2Flo this is a very modern interpretation of all this. In the original trilogy the dark side was the incarnation of temptation that leads to losing yourself in evil. It wasn’t like oh there’s two sides of the force and we should sort all out in some kind of moral relativism way, like it’s two modern political parties each with strengths and weaknesses. In the OT it’s the light side and the dark side, with the light representing balance, patience and being one with the universe and the dark side giving great power to people willing to lose their soul in the pursuit of it, an all-consuming path to ruin.

Anakin's greatest strength was indeed his greatest weakness. He cared so deeply for others, and that pushed him to rage when they were threatened.

Vader would be like “I am not bothered by the accusations made against her. You will let me in at once”

Anakin was such a good character. I still can’t believe Darth Vader killed him.

Darth Vader didn't kill him? Anakin was suppressed for a long time but his final act of throwing Palpatine off the death star was anakins choice. Redemption

Also note that if the trooper resists, and Anakin brought Obi-Wan with him, they could mind trick him together. Enough Jedi doing this together can even trick a species that's normally resistant to mind tricks. 2 Jedi (including 1 mind trick specialist) should be enough to overcome any clone trooper.

@@akula4366 maybe so but it's probably true - i'm sure the 501st would've loved to give the Corsucant Guard a piece of their mind after everything that happened, and if it were backed by Anakin himself? i'd be scared even if they were in a good mood.

The musical cues in the Clone Wars series were so good. Little hints of Vader's theme that put you in Anakin's frame of mind.

The Ahsoka arc was probably the most influential in turning him to Vader. Her lose in this story really did a number on him, and affected his relationship with Padme in the future. He refused to lose her and not he strong enough to protect her in the same way he had failed Ahsoka.

They nail that hayden christensen angry look from Episode III. Damn, can he ever look pissed off, lol

@@IcefireC67 technically vader is shown as basicall a completley different person in anakins body. technically anakins true self is a grey jedi, but sidious exploited his weaknesses and anger and turned him to the dark side. This is why vader does not go to tatooine or the jedi temple, because when he goes to locations important to anakin, he starts to turn to anakin again, and the clash of anakin and vader in the same body makes a bunch of vader's suit parts fail.

I love that the clone wars gave little scenes to show Anakin's darker nature. Vader was always in him, episode 3 was just the catalyst to bring him out

Exactly. There was already some of the seeds of the dark side before episode 3. The War started Anakin on the dark path, Ahsoka's trial, the Council not trusting her, and then acting like it was a test when asking Ahsoka back, and then her leaving was the last straw.

Anakin and I have very similar tempers (based on what I’ve watched in the Clone Wars episodes), that’s why I find this clip very relatable.

The Clone Wars is such an AMAZING series, It's crazy good. it explains SO MUCH about what actually happened between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, it also includes Ahsoka Tano. It's a wild ride, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the show to any who hasn't watched it yet.

this is honestly such an iconic scene portraying anakin in a different way. Such that anakin remembers fox even when he becomes vader!

I like how those Clone troopers got close to him and tried to be intimidating as if Anakin couldn’t have easily slaughtered every trooper in the facility with ease and then some.

Anakin doesnt care about ethics laws or orders; he cares about loyalty. Anyone loyal to him, he is also loyal to.

Clones: “The Generals orders stand” *they take a defensive stance* Anakin: “It’s treason then” _Piss runs down the clones’ legs_

​@@musiqueaccount2344The issue was that there would be no further investigation once Ahsoka was arrested. They fully believed they had their culprit. It didn't help that they wouldn't let Anakin in to talk to her so he could formally create an investigation. The whole situation was guilty until proven innocent for her.

Especially when he turned to leave. His eyes were in shadow and practically glowed yellow

No matter how much Foxx was hated, you gotta give him some credit for his balls

Fox was a book-teachings guy. He did everything by the book, and by the order. Technically isn’t fox’s fault for majority of the reasons why he was killed, but definitely his downfall.

@𝘼𝙉𝙄𝘽𝙊𝙂𝙄-𝙉𝙊𝘽𝙄 Well it's better than stunning. In most cases, some clones can handle more than one stun-shot. As you can see from the Bad Batch, Scorch was able to tank a few stuns before finally falling. Before Crosshair fell, he stood for a few seconds before falling. So, Fives could've definitely shot back if he was able to endure a stun, since his pistol was directly aiming at the CG.

I love the subtle darth Vader theme playing in the background.

This shows he is willing to drop everything for someone he cares for.

That face Anakin makes. His fist clenching. This show is so beautiful. Here we see the anger and fear of loss under the mask.

i agree with both, i think hes whiny unless i exclude his whining, the sand and alot of other stuff. while anakin has been much more of everything except whiny. the script of the prequels for those whiny parts suked but hayden didnt do so well in almost every scene except fighting. he did good a 6/10 but then i cant help thinking of ron pearlmans acting as hellboy or other various actors and their roles. god tier acting on top of a great script.

Watching him slowly turn to the dark side in much greater detail comparative to the huge time jump shown in the movies, really makes you feel bad for the guy! He was in so much paint, felt so much fear, and was constantly kept in the 'dark', all while trying to do his best to be the best he can be! Guess nobody asked Annie, if he's okay 😅😂 In all seriousness tho, this man struggled so much, and nobody gave a damn till it was too late 😢

If I was Anakin, I would say “ok” and go force trick Tarkin into giving me access, then force choke Tarkin and Fox

Anakin: *gets pissed* Clone under his own helmet: I can't breathe in this thing!

Plot twist: Fox has been Rick Morranis this whole time! He just had stilts and changed his voice to match the Jango clones.
