god T-T I've watched countless star wars edits, but yours revealed a heartbreaking detail I'd never noticed before: at 0:11, when Obi-Wan looks up at Anakin and then does a double take when he sees that he's smiling. He loved Anakin so much, I wish he had communicated that better * sobs * thank you for making / sharing this video!

Actually I think he did a double take because he noticed Anakin was sweating based on his next line "you're sweating...relax" but I agree with the sentiment all the same, it's heartbreaking

WHAT THE HECK WHAT THE HECK WHAT THE HECK DUDE THIS IS SO GOOD I'M *CRYING* ok slightly (very slightly) more coherant now so more thoughts: - ben remembering anakin as a kid, as his padawan!! the 'why do i get the feeling you're going to be the death of me' is even MORE gutwrenching in this context SOMEHOW - the 'you're the closest this i have to a father' with the so-soft 'anakin' HURTS, and THEN *it's all we know,* coming in like a suckerpunch and the rED LIGHTSABER IGNITING WITH THE MUSIC PICKING UP *OW---* - i love the flashing between in-color for what's happening and black-and-white for all the history. it's beautiful and clear and it HURTS - obi-wan: 'what have you become?' music: '🎶*THE HURRICANE*🎶' - 'anakin skywalker is alive' starting with padawan anakin circling obi-wan in a practice duel switching to sith anakin circling him in a real duel is a heartbreaking parallel and I love the way it matches up with the beats. - anakin's 'what have i done?' with the projector images, obi-wan's 'it can't be,' and the music's 🎶*falling slow, falling slow,*🎶 is lighting up pain receptors in my head like nobody's business - 'if you're not with me then you're my enemy' interspersed with obi-wan VERY CLEARLY being ''with'' anakin. ahhhhh - 'you're going to kill him, aren't you?' obi-wan: 'I CAN'T!!!!!' - 'you were my brother, anakin!' 'i loved you.' the music: 🎶*WATCH IT GO, WATCH IT GO,*🎶 the scenes: their duels, the fire rising, darth vader's taunts. pain. - 1:29 THIS FRAME HAUNTS MY DREAMS NOW. YOU SPLIT TO IT WITH ANAKIN SAVING HIS LIFE AND I CAN'T UNSEE IT. - *WATCH IT GO, WATCH IT GO, WE STAY THE SAME.* honestly this song is KILLING me with these scenes and voiceovers - 'do you really want anakin dead?' the music: 🎶*I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T KNOW,*🎶 RIGHT to the 'you should have killed me when you had the chance' and the fire on mustafar too, that's *mean* - obi-wan's 'i'm sorry, anakin. for all of it.' has never failed to cut me in half with EMOTION and it's not failing now. - 🎶*I don't know, I don't know how it can change*🎶 from the music with sith anakin's 'I HATE YOU' 😭😭😭 -when the music cuts down to be *so soft*!! anakin and obi-wan meeting as young man and kid, with no idea of the future - that last bit, going back to obi-wan finishing the train of thought to luke, hurts s o m u c h. All that? he remembers. he thinks of it regularly. anyway this is fantastic and a masterpiece and it lives rent-free in my brain now. thank you SO MUCH for making it you genius, and may the force be with you. have a wonderful day :D

This is SO incredibly well done! WOW!

I like how you included some clips of Obi-Wan and Anakin from Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. I remember when that movie came out in theaters almost 24 years ago, damn how time flies. There's a deleted scene where Anakin beats up Greedo, before Qui-Gon steps in to stop the fight. That part should have been included in the video as well as the clips where Palpatine congratulates Obi-Wan and Anakin and the Naboo celebration where the new master and apprentice look to the future. Back in the late 2000's and early 2010's, people made a lot star wars tribute videos with alternative rock bands like, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin and Within Temptation. I really like the tribute video, the clips were well put together, the song had a lot of emotion, great job and keep up the good work. Maybe you could make a video about Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.
