It was Obi wan was referring fact Qui gon always seemed pick up waifs and strays everywhere he and obi wan went.

From calling him a pathetic lifeform to saying he loved him. Great development. Anikan was the only character obi wan said he loved to.

the animations are much better, everybody can hate me now, but the movies are just eh... animations are much better for star wars for a lot of reason.

"I should be there with him" so perfect Utapau was a trap and Obi-Wan walked right into it and it wasn't his fault but he was gone when his brother needed him most... the student he pushed away for too long

i coudnt imagine how kenobi could carry on with life after his best friend no his brother betrayed him in such an extreme fashion, truly a sad story

Sobbing because Obi-Wan never wanted to lose his master, nor take on a padawan, but he saw his duty as larger than his desires. He always did. And that very responsibility brought him a brother. It makes it more impactful when we learn that Obi-Wan once had a brother in the KENOBI series, when he lived with his real family, but found a true one. Blood can only take one so far in it all. Anakin found what was missing from his life too - they leaned on each other so much, but they knew the other would be there for them, always. I missed seeing them onscreen.

This is what's sad. Obi-wan calls Anakin "old friend" and says he loved him like a brother. But Anakin didn't need a brother. He needed a father, which Obi-wan couldn't be. I believe that if Qui-gon would have lived, Anakin's future would have been different.

There actually a deleted scene from clone wars that someone posted on KZread where Anikan and obi wan talk about Ahsoka leaving and Anikan asks obi wan if he was able to sleep knowing he (Anikan) was a total disappointment. Obi wan replied with that that wasn’t going to be the case and that he isn’t going to disappoint him (like ahsoka did) that scene breaks my heart
