It's obvious you've thought through each stage of this process. I'm super happy aiming to add 1-5 reps each workout, keeping track in a notepad as I go. It feels great to be racking up personal records as I move steadily towards the next milestone. I'm not a total stranger to training but I'm in my forties and experienced enough to know that joints and tendons don't adapt fast enough to an all-out assault every session, week in week out. Enjoy the process is my advice ladies and gents. And max knows what he's on about! Shouts from UK

Great advice, I've been doing 20 within 20 minutes every day I can, and resting on the days where I'm super sore. My work is physical as well, so I don't want to push it and be in pain or risk an injury. My plan is to do 20 within 20 minutes until I can do 20 straight, and then test in properly. By then my body will be acclimated. I've done 4 days worth of 20 navy seals so far, and I am now to the point where my soreness is highly reduced. Taking protein afterwards has helped with this as well. Soon I'll be following the program properly. Thanks again! There's no hurry to go up the levels, because this is a lifetime mission not a race!

Great advice! I remember hearing it's better to go home on a crappy workout than get hurt and be out longer potentially due to injury. I've been doing some 20min burpees for the past 2-3 weeks already, but I already have some wrist issues, so I modified to use parallettes. Also hurt myself after years and years of typical pullups because I was trying to go further my range of motion doing chest to bar a week ago, but that pinched a nerve in my elbow.

Good timing for me Max. Just sustained a pulled chest muscle but probably not due to the BDP. However, just easing back for recovery to come back stronger and more motivated. I know its the right thing to do, listening to my body, even though I really don't want to miss out on the 80 mins per week training working towards 1C which speaks volumes for the BDT protocol. Will be looking at some of the accessory movements in the interim (4 count with squat).

I want to stay consistent with your vision for the program! Thanks for your help! And now that I’ve finished the video, even after years of training, the advice here is fantastic to hear, especially the “plateau” experience. As for your question -- once you've unlocked both workouts, you're officially a Level 2 practitioner, whether that's in the same week or not -- but be aware that it's easy to slip back to the level below. Once unlocked does not mean always unlocked. When you graduate the program, you must complete both graduation workouts within a week.

As a former high level athlete up until 30 yrs old ( now 42) I figured that my body had enough experience and muscle memory to jump feet first and get after it. But after 2 weeks I have been experiencing some pretty good rotator cuff/ bicep tendon tendonitis. Dude, I like your content but you need a wind protected microphone. A lot of your stuff is unbearable to listen to due to wind noise.

Good vid man! I’ve just started about a week ago, I’ve done the workout a good 4 times cause I’ll rest a day or two cause man my body gets sore, im only able to do about 10 or so a few sets but it feels great. I’ll say to everyone else to keep at it!
