I am a nurse, and from Monday to Friday, I get up before the crack of the day to get to my workplace. I wake up at 4:00 am and press the button „Snooze” to lay in bed for an extra 10 minutes. When I hear the second alarm, I jump out of bed and start my day. I like bright and early mornings because no sounds come from outside or from my neighbors (I live in a block of flats). When I leave my home, the streets and bike roads are empty. So I can ride my bike fast without being disturbed by other users. The only problem is that I have so many things to do during the day that I always fail to get to bed early enough. And I don't sleep long enough. On Friday afternoons, I am knackered. So on Saturdays and Sundays, I sleep in to catch up with the sleep demands of my body.

In English it's "rise and shine" and in Russian it's "wake and sing". "The early bird gets the worm" and "the one who gets up early gets something from God ". Bob didn't get the worm and he even didn't get the Sun but he managed to draw it for us! Thanks for the lesson. Greetings from Ukraine.

Waking up at this time in the morning is very common for Muslims. We live the day divided into five periods. One of those times is the one-hour period until sunrise. One hour before sunrise, we wake up with the call to prayer, wash our mouth, nose, face, hands up to the elbows, ears and feet, in short, we perform ablution, then we perform the morning prayer. I'm a real morning person and love getting up early! Lately I've been getting sleepy by 10:30pm and I go to bed between 11:00pm and 11:30pm! My naps last about 5 hours. But after that, I need some time in the afternoon to take a little nap.
