I’ve been in Canada for 4 years, mostly for college. Hello Bob, I'm from China. I've been wanting to improve my spoken English and have bought many courses from other teachers, but I didn't find them engaging enough to stay committed. Until I stumbled upon your lessons, I found them practical and enjoyable. I hope this time I can stick with it.

I tried to confirm this with my friend and teacher before because I felt weird to say/hear 'having here or take away' whenever I order at a fast food restaurant (the take away is fine, but the having here is weird to me). But it seems like this is what we use here in Malaysia. Glad to learn another way of saying it: for here or to go :)

This recalls my experience in the Philippines, it is my 1st-time visit abroad, everything is new for me, When I scanned the menu, I can figure out several dishes, and I pretend that I can understand it, and only choose some dishes including rice, fish, and chicken, the waiter is very kind, and he understands my embarrassed, and show me what I booked, and tell me the foreigner may not accept the taste.

Im going to Australia from China next year, video like this helps me a lot
