Such a lovely song!

I heard this recently on Wpkn. It moved me so much, had to pull over and sobbed. Reminded me of my youth...and yes, there were horses 🐎🐴🐎🐴🐎🐴🐎🐴🐎🐴

I have heard this song on a local radio station for one, maybe, two months. Such imagery, even pre video viewing. The lyrics tell such a story. Keep on with such beauty.

Beautiful video and song by an amazing and gifted singer-songwriter-musician. Amy Speace is wonderful in concert and remember the shows from the 2000's in Albany and Saratoga Springs.

As our country and others loose our freedoms, as the lands are robbed of Wildlife and their suffering continues year after year, equines removed to dry lot holding pens or worse. My heart has shattered to see the brutality inflicted by our country 💔 this isn't what "we the people" stands for. Our voices are being ignored and so the desecration continues.

I had the sincere pleasure of meeting and listening to Amy Speace at a house concert here in Boulder, CO last evening and heard this song sung - BEAUTIFUL -yet MORE BEAUTIFUL to listen and watch the video. Thank you Amy for being and doing what great artists do....spreading happiness, thoughtfulness, with the right portion of sadness to the world.

I grew up in Yellow Springs Maryland and passed these horses many times as a kid. Amy ... you've nailed it!!! (Heard you perform last night at the Avalon in Easton. Thanx for the excellent evening.

I grew up just a few miles from there. When I heard that line, I wondered if it was Yellow Springs Maryland she was referring to.

Amy, I had never heard of you until I was listening to this song on my release radar on Spotify. This is one of those rare songs that you instantly fall in love with the first time you hear it. There have been very few songs in my 64 years like that, but for me they include Don Henley's the End of the Innocence, Brandi Carlile's The Joke, and the slow movement of Chopin's second piano concerto. I am adding your song to the list. For me, the song is about you wanting to see your father one last time. If it is based in fact I hope you were able to do that. Tom, when I discovered Amy many years ago now, I actually put her in the lead in front of my favorite singer of my era, Joan Baez, but with the difference that Amy writes/sings much better songs than did Joan. Amy is among the top five female voices of my lifetime [I am 79!].
