It was the last *mainline* wig-wag in the US, California still retains a few in use on some of the branch lines and shortlines around the state.
Wow! I don't think there are many more of these in existence

I’m not aware of any in mainline service now that this one has been removed.

In Czechia, we have mechanical crossing too, but mostly with barriers and without lights.
