Glad you did an unboxing of this model because I built this 1 back when i was a little kid in the 80s and the thing that turned me off from buying and building it again was that back then the slicks that came with it where the hard plastic 2 piece that you had to glue together. Really hated models that came with them slicks back in the day. The new ones that come with it now ain't the widest pair like they show in the picture but them ones are definitely an upgrade. Again thanks for the video, now I will finally buy this one again and build it.

Loving and owning 68-74 Novas since 1985 I built this kit many times as it was the only choice before the Revell kit came.out. Hated the hard plastic glue together slicks and they even cheaped out in a few releases by replacing the metal axles with syrene axles. Somebody should have been fired over that corner cutting.

Think I remember that being one of the things about this model back in the day. Back in the 80s like I wrote in my comment it came with them hard plastic 2 piece slicks that you had to glue together. Lol now reading your comment I'm kinda back on the fence as to buying and building it again. Decisions decisions 🤔
