Frenchman, Eric Cantona moved from Leeds United to Manchester United and played for them 1992-1997. Cantona is credited as having played a key role in the revival of Manchester United as a footballing force in the 1990s. Cantona played for Auxerre, Martigues, Marseille, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Nîmes, and Leeds United before ending his career at Manchester United, where he won four Premier League titles in five years and two League and FA Cup Doubles. He wore the iconic No. 7 shirt at Manchester United, and was known for turning up his collar - a trademark look. He is also affectionately nicknamed by Manchester United fans as "King Eric".

Hi KB, at 7.48 the chant refers to the Busby boys. Sir Matt Busby as manager had recreated the team as his Busby Babes & they were having spectacular success, prior to the Munich air crash in `58. The team then rose from the ashes to complete their European dream 10 yrs later, with Charlton, Best & Law. At 11.28 the chant refers to Man. Utd winning the treble in the `98/99 season.

Football Club United of Manchester is a semi-professional football club based in Moston, Manchester, England, that competes in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, the seventh tier of the English football league system, and plays home matches at Broadhurst Park. Founded in 2005 by Manchester United supporters opposed to American businessman Malcolm Glazer's takeover, F.C. United entered Division Two of the North West Counties Football League, earned three consecutive promotions and were promoted for a fourth time to National League North for the 2015-16 season. In cup competitions, F.C. United reached the second round of the FA Cup in 2010-11 and the fourth round of the FA Trophy in 2014-15. In 2019 they were relegated back to the Northern Premier League.

Secondly, the only thing I know how to do is “hide user from channel” which means I can keep your comments from appearing on the channel. But obviously I have not done that to you because I am responding to your comment right now. Thirdly, I am aware of the glazers, and unless they start burning babies at the stake they will never be as bad or even come close to how awful Dan Snyder is as the owner of Washington. Imagine if your football club stopped having fans show up to the games… bet that has never happened under the glazers. Ever. Washington has been in the bottom 5 in attendance in American football for the past 10 years because of how much he has offended the fans. 30 years ago you couldn’t even get tickets to games because there was a decade long waiting list. No offense to you or your passion for letting everyone know about the glazers, but as someone who dropped Washington and started rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (owned by the glazers), I will happily take the Glazers over Dan Snyder 1000 times out of 1000 in 1000 different lifetimes.

@@KingBoomer Firstly, My post on were 100% deleted from your videos. Secondly, I haven't got a problem with that, like I said, I'm a big fan of yours, but when things hit a nerve, and someone wants to express an opinion on that, lets face it, it's unforeseen and not of the opinion you hold from a completely different perspective, then, like a straight up bloke you are, I would think you'd respect that and go an investigate, learn some more, maybe be enlightened in the process, or maybe come to the conclusion that the person posting was incorrect. Thirdly - and most importantly, I think your missing the point about people not attending games because, as great as your sports are, and we enjoy them, especially the NFL, they are only played by one nation in the whole world, and one set of fans from one region of that country who support them....... Manchester United is GLOBAL.... (and the reason why The Glazers, who could not afford to buy united, bought them, and plied the club in debt to do so by borrowing money they don't have) so it doesn't matter if the 'fans' 'stop going to games' because Old Trafford (United stadium) would still be full every week from the global fanbase who save up and dream of that once in a lifetime experience of travelling the the UK and watching United. Thats the golden ticket. You cannot (understandably) appreciate how big this club is and how much is has been bled dry by its owners so your team can win the Super Bowl. Love -Paul

I'm biased as a Grimsby Town fan, but if you're looking for a team to support, I'd recommend a team from League 2 or below as the fan base is much more passionate and there are less "plastic fans". The only club down here or below with (a few) plastic fans is Wrexham.

Don't worry about picking Man U to support. Most of their supporters have never gone to a game, don't live in/around Manchester or even the same country. Glory supporters for the majority except when they're not winning, then they move on to a team that is 🤣Unlike supporters of smaller clubs who are true fans. FYI, I can't stand football & support no one except myself 😋

The stadium has only 75,000 capacity, and a lot of season tickets, so yes a vast ppn of the 100’s of millions of supporters will never get to watch a live game unless they get some seats at an away game in the etihad.

I was on vacation in Orlando in October and I went to an Irish bar to watch the Man city Vs Liverpool game and there was a huge crowd of people! "The Orlando citizens". Floridian Manchester city and they were mouthy too! I was shocked and absolutely loved it. Best part is when Liverpool scored and the bar fell silent except for me who jumped up and down shouting 🤣🤣

NFL could consider a general European\international team with no fixed stadium and instead rotate around some of the best stadiums on the continent. The problem with relocating to Alianz Arena is that Bayern Munich are using it most of the season; ditto the Spurs stadium in London. Wembley stadium is under utilised (just the English national team home games and some competitions) so that could work as a permanent base, but what is making the NFL International series successful is the specialness of it all. 8/9 games in 18 weeks and it becomes routine. Mix it up with maybe Barcelona and Amsterdam, Wembley (London), Tottenham (London), Munich, a few more German locations and maybe Scotland and perhaps Mexico City; then call them something like 'The Exiles' One of the major obstacles to permanently basing an NFL team in another country is the local taxes will kill any the appeal of the club has to signing players. Not sure if the salary cap is applied before Tax, but European nations have a significantly higher tax burden for those earning a high income than America, and if a club is based in say Germany, their players will be liable for German income tax. Having the team based and training in an American city but flying in for the game will mitigate the tax liability. The downside of this though is that the fans may not necessarily be interested in the home team and could be just as likely to support the opposition; and with no regular home stadium the Exiles have no real home advantage; but I think it could work to grow the game outside of America

Basically how it works in English football is that everybody hates Liverpool (scousers) this is not just based on football though ,then most people hate Leeds (dirty Leeds) and nobody likes Man Utd unless you are from London or the Home Counties or Norway . The rest of us support our home (where we were born or bred) team. That could be Hicksville or the New York Yankee’s for example.
